Helix Native Software Dated?

So I am unable to start using Helix Native. Or at least i can not upload ANY of my presets into the Software. I see Version 1.0? Does the Native software not update to the latest version of floor? I am very frustrated at the money I spent initially to use the software. I keep having to use the hardware because I cant get the Native software to work. Needs a stand alone app. I am just wondering how am I supposed to get it to work when its NOT the same as my fully updated Helix Floor? Missing all kinds of stuff and I see no way anywhere to update the Native software? What am i missing? Or why else am i getting errors when I try to import patches with custom tones i have made or bought and put on the hardware?

You need to update Helix Native as a separate download from the firmware for hardware units. Go to downloads, specify Helix Native as the software, choose your operating system, then click on Go.

 

After updating, check the About window on your Helix Native. Mine says 3.61, with a copyright date of 2023.

You need to update Helix Native manually; it is not included in the Helix product firmware/software. Download and install the current version of Helix Native, v3.61 (or the same version number as your Helix Floor device firmware).

Go to the top of this page and click on “DOWNLOADS”.

 

On the next page select Helix Native from under the “Choose Software” drop down menu item. Next select your computer Operating System from the “Choose OS” Dropdown menu. Now, click the “Go” button.

 

The next page is where you will find the Helix Native download. From the section named Helix Native version 3.61 click on the blue button named “GET DOWNLOAD”. The final page is the EULA, simply click on the “CLICK AND DOWNLOAD BUTTON”.

 

When the download finishes, run the installer - done!

 

That’s all there is to it - quite simple, and not frustrating at all.

WOW thank you so much datacommando. not so much mr PierM of coarse i read the manual. For some reason everytime i tries the updated versions were not coming up. But I tried again and FINALLY i saw 3.61 - I appreciate you soooooooooooooo much for the reply assured me i was indeed missing so9mething i just wisdh i knew what it was. But all happy now ;-)

Hi,

 

The reason that you always see only version 1.0 is because you probably also made a selection in the “Choose Hardware” menu. This is not necessary - Helix Native is a software only item and should be selected exactly as I mentioned in my post. Furthermore page 4 of the Helix Native Pilot’s Guide has a picture showing the download page.
