guibackstage
Hello! I am having an EXTREMELY annoying problem with the HX Stomp I have just bought. When I am selecting some effect using the knob, it abruptly changes to "TEMPO" settings for no know reason. This can't be normal. I have recorded a video to illustrate the problem: I have already updated the firmware, but it did not solve the problem. Anyone here know what may be happening? silverhead
Based on what I can see of your right hand in the video, this behaviour is normal depending on your Global Settings-> Footswitches assignments. If you have FS3 set to the default Tap/Tuner assignment, and you also have the Stomp Select set to the default Touch, then when the side of your hand touches FS3 as you rotate the knobs, it activates the Tempo or Tuner display. Read the manual description to discover your options and experiment to decide what settings work best for you. To test this, make sure your right hand does not touch FS3 as you rotate the knobs. The symptom and your annoyance should disappear.
Schmalle
Touch FS3. That information is on the HX Stomp Cheat Sheet. Probably a good opportunity to check if all information on it are known to master navigating the device.

As stated already, it's normal behavior caused by touch capacitance switches... your finger is touching FS3 while attempting to edit. On a stomp you can change this behavior to PRESS if you prefer.
