Drybonz
I had noticed some strange noise occasionally in my presets and found that various parameters had been cranked up to 100. I'm not 100% sure but I think this was caused by copy/pasting in a block (not the one with the changed parameters) from one preset to another. So, moving in a block somehow caused parameters on other blocks to be raised to 100. This has happened multiple times and the copy/paste is the only thing I can think of that they had in common. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a known issue? Thanks for the help.
rd2rk
If the copy/paste is replacing an existing block which has SS/FS settings that affect parameters in other blocks, that might be the issue. Otherwise, if it's just adding a block, that should not cause an issue.
Drybonz
Right... I should have been more clear on that. This is possibly pasting over an existing block but seemingly affecting a parameter in other existing blocks. Those blocks were probably in a snapshot, because I use snapshots a lot, but what it changes seems to be totally random and unrelated. For instance, I paste in a distortion block and it raises delay feedback in another block to 100 causing droning noises until I tracked it down. If it is in a snapshot, it should only be preserving/affecting parameters on the single block I am pasting in, in my opinion.
rd2rk
If the affected block's parameters are being controlled by the replaced block, its parameters could be reverting to defaults. IDK for sure, but something to consider. If that is what's happening, you should express your opinion on Ideascale. If you still can't track it down, that's weird, contact support. 1
Drybonz
Yeah, this just happened again last night. I deleted the existing distortion block just to be safe. Then, pasted in the distortion block I wanted and it raised the existing delay feedback setting to 100 (obviously, not the default value, so we can rule that out) and started making weird noise due to the extreme parameter. I have no idea what Ideascale is, but I will check into it. Thanks again for the help.

Hi, Before diving into IdeaScale, there is a general rule of dealing with weird, strange and unexpected things happening your HX device. Perform a Factory Reset - (it’s a kind of magic!) If after the reset you are still experiencing this strange behaviour, your best course of action would be to raise a ticket with support. They are the most likely people to supply a remedy. Hope this helps/makes sense.
theElevators
When pasting a block I usually immediately remove all the snapshot controls from it, and then recreate it.
