KhyrisEidan
There are presets i want from Version 1.03. But is there a way to not roll back to this version to obtain the factory presets?
brue58ski
There's a bunch of old presets here. I'm not so sure the presets from 1.03 are there but it's your best bet that I'm aware of. http://benvesco.com/store/line-6-helix/

silverhead
v1.10-FACTORY 1.hls v1.10-FACTORY 2.hls v1.10-TEMPLATES.hls I can't find a public firmware release at v1.03. I found 1.06.5 but I didn't make copies of those. The closest I have is v1.10. Perhaps these have what you're looking for.

Hi, You can find the older firmware presets collated by Ben Vesco right down at the bottom of the page, supplied in the link provided by @brue58ski in the post above. Although, I cannot figure out what can possibly be of interest in the original firmware which is 9 years out of date. Even if you did find the preset you’re looking for it will require updating to be compatible with the latest firmware. Maybe it’s me, or maybe not, because Digital_Igloo is also known to say “All Presets Suck”. Hope this helps/makes sense.
KhyrisEidan
These presets. Come as you are Black Hole Cold Shot Pull me clean Deep Clean They sounded cool..>.> 1.10 isn't what I need. It's those 5 presets that I want from 1.03. And I don't mind if they're that old. I like them.

It’s usually in response to those who post, saying the preset they’ve downloaded from CustomTone doesn’t sound exactly like, (insert name of any well known/favourite guitar slinger here). Strangely enough, this sort of comment isn’t only made by bedroom players listening through their computer, sometimes it comes from people who really should know better. Keep up the good work with the Helix Book of Tricks.

And we can never say it enough, right? LOL I liked the original POD. When I first tried the 2nd gen POD, it sounded horrible. I wondered how Line 6 could have lost the recipe so badly. Then I remembered I had dialed back drive to about 60% on the original POD because I use thick strings and a thumbpick. Dialing back drive on the 2nd gen one made it sound wonderful :)
