PlayinOcean
So i finally decided that 3 switches is not enough for my Stomp. I saw multiple suggestions for the Ampero FS 1 as a cheap way to add the switches 4 and 5, so I bought it. Plugged it in, assigned an effect to FS 4, but nothing happens. I did tell the Stomp in Global settings to regard switches 4 and 5 as FS 4/5, so I really don't see what the problem is here. Maybe a faulty unit, or am I missing something? rd2rk
In HX Edit, open the SETTINGS (gear icon at lower left)>Device Settings. IDK for sure how they need to be configured for that device, I use an ME SP1-L6 Exp Pedal instead of a switch. Hope you bought it somewhere with a good returns policy. AFAICT from trying to get help with the POS Ampero Control I bought last week, their support people have never responded to anybody. Headed back to Amazon... Is the Ampero FS 1 using momentary switches? If so you may have to use momentary as the type of engagement of the switch when assigning the blocks. I do not have a stomp so maybe someone who does and is smarter than I can explain better if a momentary device can be set to latching on the Stomp.

I'd rather use at least one of he switches for tap/tune, though, simply because I prefer to have visual control over things, something the Ampero switch doesn't offer.
lou-kash
In Global Settings > Preferences make sure to set EXP/FS Tip to FS4 and EXP/FS Ring to FS5. If it's set to EXP1/2, the switches won't work because the Stomp logically expects an expression pedal. Other than that, the Ampero Switch is a rock solid device that just works. 1

That was the missing link, thanks a lot!
