I would like to know if Helix Stadium Rack version is comming or not!? it would be very nice being abble to use it with my Helix Control + Moer Expression Pedal. Somebody who knows something about!? Melodioso Posted December 10 Share Posted December 10 The current size of the upper part of the Helix Stadium with the touch screen (XL and non-XL) is unfortunately too big to fit into a 3U rack (the size of the Helix Rack). So they would need to redesign the product to make it fit into a 3U space - or - make a 4U rack which no one would want because it would be freaking to big. An elegant solution would be to take whatever screen and UI that they would put on the "Helix Stomp Stadium" (not yet released) and use that on the rack unit; and make it a 2U height rack. This would be a winner ! However, I'm not sure if sales number of the current Rack units would warrant for a new SKU. Note: you cannot re-use the Helix Controller with the Stadium. jpdennis Posted December 11 Share Posted December 11 One option would be to use a midi interface block pedal and some EXP(s) with the Stadium and have the stadium reside in a pull out effects tray within the rack. Unless I miss something, a rack mounted Helix really doesn't lend itself to be close to a large stage performance. And because my mind never shutdowns, one could have a wireless router on stage and a laptop as well for triggering or "quick" preset adjustments.
