NU9Band
Just received the THON (Thomann) case for my Stadium. I love their cases - have been using one for many years. Built like a tank AND cheaper than the backpack :). It can be operated from inside the lid. It has room in front (where the vents are) and the unit sits suspended by foam sides about 2 cm in the air, so there is plenty of room for heat dissipation underneath. There is also room behind the unit, for the power cable. 2
Nos402
NICE. Almost makes me want to get one even though the Gator case I used with my OG Helix works great with the Stadium and has a handle and wheels! But I do have to take it OUT of the case to use it.
bbehrens
Seems to be the perfect size for the Stadium! I Ordered a 1/4" plywood case that is almost exactly like that for my OG Helix. Built like a l]tank and protected it very well (except for when it is open on stage (I have a damaged scribble strip that is still readable and one of my knobs now has a ding where you can tell if it has been turned or not now. And I have my Green LED going out on one of the foot switches (No longer displays Blue or any color needing the blue LED light. Funny enough, I ALWAYS took it out of the case when playing live as I just did not need to extra height my foot had to travel. (I'm lazy I guess). IT also weighed more than the Helix! But I DO NOT like the design of the new Stadium backpack. NO THANKS!
theElevators
I have a Thon case for my Helix. They are good cases with 2 minor problems: the feet need to be glued in properly, otherwise they will fall off (easy fix). The other: on the old Helix, the case is upside-down. When you carry the Helix, its weight rests on the foam where the space is cut out for the cables. As a result, the weight of the Helix bends that plastic fooam, and the Helix slides down, further damaging it. The handle should have been on the other side of the Helix. I solved this on mine by gluing an extra piece of foam to support the weight--easy.
NU9Band
The Stadium case is exactly the same - the effect sits towards the handle part of the case. However, I have an older THON case for my VOX Tonelab SE, which has the exact same construction, with no problems in years of use.
jpdennis
I am using the same Gator case I purchased for my Helix Floor. The barrier strip is attached via a Velcro bond. Moving it to better contain the Stadium was straight forward. I am glad I kept the case when I sold the Helix Floor during the waiting period for my Stadium.
