How do I roll back my firmware?

I just downloaded 1.4 this week and now my helix stadium XL won't receive MIDI via Widi Master anymore. I have triple checked all of my settings and I can't get it to go. It still receives midi through USB but that isn't really an option at this point. I have practice today and a show in 3 weeks and I really need to sort this out!

 

Is there a way to roll back my firmware?

You should be able to roll back the firmware using Line 6 Central.

Possibly, did you check your Global Midi Settings? They have changed in 1.4.

My Midi system went crazy, until I went into Global Midi, and turned OFF Matrix 1/4" Midi, Matrix XLR Midi, Matrix Phones Midi,

then everything worked again with a restart.

I only see 1.4.0 in Line 6 Central

No, it is no longer possible to revert to a version earlier than 1.4.0.

I’ve tested my WIDI Master, and there are no issues with the Stadium 1.4 update.

 

I didn’t have to readjust any MIDI settings either; everything works fine, including all the new CCs related to the Matrix Mixers.

 

Try updating the firmware on your WIDI Master.
