Problem with Pod Pro in FL

Hello,

I have asio4all for my DAW and when I open FL studio with my HD POD PRO enabled in my asio4all it makes my DAW lag really hard.

It's like its stuttering. (0,5sec sound then 0,5sec no sound)

I can't get it to work with my HD POD but when I disable it, FL works fine.

I searched all over the internet but I can't find an answer anywhere.

Please help me

Greetings, Sven.

The thing is, I just bought a new pc, before I had VISTA. That computer was an ancient piece of trash but it worked, now I got a new PC with the same soundcar (us-122mkII) and the same POD but now it doesn't work.

I used monkey to update everything but nowhere in Line 6 monkey does it say anything about ASIO so I don´t know the best place to get it.

The first thing I would do is remove ASIO4All.

When I had it installed on my Windows 7 machine, it screwed up my access to the Line 6 ASIO driver, and another ASIO driver (I just wanted to test it to see what it was all about).  After doing some research, as far as I understand, AISO4All does not support even Vista, much less Windows 7 or Windows 8.  It was written for XP.  So I uninstalled it, and everything started working again.

After uninstalling ASIO4All, connect your POD to your PC USB port.  Turn on your POD, Start POD HD Edit. Make sure POD HD Edit can connect to your POD.

Start FL.  Look for the ASIO POD HD driver under available interfaces.  If you don't see it, there is something wrong with your installation.  It should just be there.  I'd uninstall all your POD software and start over with the installation process.

ASIO4ALL are ASIO drivers meant for regular soundcards without native ASIO drivers. The POD is an interface itself with native ASIO drivers, therefore you don't need to use ASIO4ALL at all (When using the POD of course). What you should do is let Monkey install latest Line 6 ASIO drivers and after opening FL choose Line 6 ASIO driver in the Sound Options.

The newer PC's all come with USB 3 ports.  Line 6 stuff doesn't like USB 3.  Make sure you are plugging into a USB 2.0 port.

Decent point, and definitely something to check, but this is not universally true.  My POD HD Desktop works fine on my HP 8560w Elitebook Laptop USB 3.0 ports.  It uses Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Controller and Root Hub.

Am I the only person that thought he was having trouble in Florida?

Nope, me, too....

Hey all,

Been looking for hours finding a Line 6 Asio driver for my HD pod pro, could not find it anywhere.

Can anyone please send a direct link of what I need because I`m done searching and trying for days without results.

In my DAW it lists ASIO POD HD Pro, but I´m not sure if that´s the one I need.

When I start FL it says: "Not enough ASIO output channels available, at least 2 channels are needed." (it says that twice)

I can't select an output when I choose the ASIO POD HD Pro driver so I'm pretty sure it's not the 1 I need.

Thanks in advance,

Greetings, Sven.

No, and in fact, even though I read this thread the first day it was posted, I didn't realize it wasn't about trouble in Florida until I read your response.
