Well, I’d give you 100 to 1 odds that it will….. Makes no sense to include a VDI input on the D10 if all it does is supply power to the Variax. And a phrase I recall Eric Klein saying in the launch video when talking about the D10 is something like ‘We’re not going to abandon our Variax and PowerCab owners.’ But, as you say, that’s not 100% confirmation.

This is the link to the Gearbox download. I have it installed on a Win 10 laptop and it still works for me. I see they state, "OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8" but it works for me on Win 10.
