  1. You can open a ticket to get Line 6 to respond. This is a USER supported forum.
  2. You could try plugging it into the Left and Right Effects Return. Not sure if that will do what you want, but might be worth a try.
  3. Go to this link from Line6 and follow the instructions.
  4. Try the batteries because if that works, then the problem is the AC to DC adapter. AC to DC adapters come in different varieties. It's not just voltage, but polarity counts. Some are Tip + (positive) and some are Tip - (negative). The diagram in the Pocket Pod manual says "The optional DC-1 provides 9.6 volts DC, 200 mA and has center negative polarity. If that is wrong, it won't work and it could damage your unit. You should order the correct DC-1power adapter or use batteries. I'd try batteries first before ordering the adapter.
  5. Did you read the user's guide. That's the best place to start.
  6. Actually, I think Gearbox is better. Unfortunately, although Line6 makes some great hardware that lasts a long time, they are not good at keeping the software up-to-date which is a shame.
  7. Did you try performing a factory reset? You could also try unplugging and replugging the cables on the motherboard carefully. Try the one labeled To Pedal PCB.
  8. The wah pedal is a volume pedal when it's not in wah mode. Also on the back there is a output level knob that you can adjust.
  9. I assume you have the DC adapter that comes with the PocketPod. If not, you could damage it. Also, what is your voltage where you plug it in? I think it requires 120 volts for the DC adapter unless your model is made for other countries. Look at the label on the DC adapter. It should tell the voltage requirement. Most countries outside the US use 220 volts. You would need an adapter that transforms the outlet to 120 volts. Did you try it with batteries?
  10. You can get the latest driver here: https://line6.com/software/index.html Make sure you follow the instructions when installing the driver. I believe you don't plug in the USB cable until you install the driver and then it will tell you when to plug in the USB cable. You should connect it to a USB port on your computer, not a USB hub. When it's properly installed, you should see it in Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers.
  11. The Driver version should be 4.2.7.7 USB Firmware should be 1.12 Flash Memory should be 3.01 If those are correct, try this: From Line6: Try the Edit Buffer Initialization with the following steps: 1. Turn off the POD 2. Turn on the POD while holding down the Save and Edit buttons simultaneously 3. The POD's LCD screen should display Init Edit Buffer 4. Push the Output mode button 5. Turn the Select / Select Page knob one click to the right 6. Turn the Effect Tweak / Change Value knob to the left or right adjusting the contrast. If that does not help, please try re-installing the flash memory on the PODxt device using the instructions in the following link: Pod xt Series: Factory Reset, Reflash, and Firmware Updates
  12. Do you have all the Model Packs? There are three: FX Junkie, Power Pack and Collector's Classics. The XTLive came with the first two, but not the last one. Here's what Collector's Classics contains: Amp Models: Based On: Bomber X-TC Bogner '02 Ecstasy Deity Crunch Diezel ' 03 VH4-Crunch Blackface Vibro Fender® '63 Vibroverb Double Show Fender® '67 Dual Showman® Head Silverface Bass Fender® '72 Bassman® Head Mini Double Fender® '96 Mini Twin Reverb® Gibtone Expo Gibson® '60 GA-18 Explorer® Brit Bass Marshall® '68 Super Bass Brit Major Marshall® '69 Major Silver Twelve Silvertone® '67 Twin Twelve Super-O Thunder Supro® '62 Thunderbolt L6 Bayou Line 6 Original L6 Crunch Line 6 Original L6 Purge Line 6 Original L6 Sparkle Line 6 Original L6 Super Cln Line 6 Original L6 SuperSpark Line 6 Original L6 Twang Line 6 Original
  13. Someone posted this in the Forum: SoundDiver Line6 Setup.exe
  14. This is a USER FORUM, not Line6 support. If you need Line6 support, open a ticket to them. I am not an Apple user, however, I did find this article about running 32-bit apps on Catalina. https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-run-32-bit-apps-in-macos-catalina
  15. Since you haven't used it in a while, the Effect Tweak knob may have oxidized. Try spinning it back and forth for a while and see if that helps. If you have contact cleaner, pull the knob off and shoot a little of that on it (while the unit is powered off) and then spin the knob back and forth for a little while. Then power on and try it again.
  16. Run the Line6 License Manager. Select Scan for Devices and select your PodXTLive and you will see which Model Packs you have. To use them, they will show up when you edit a patch settings. They will be in the list of amp models, stomp boxes, etc.
  17. You might try the Edit Buffer Initialization. Here's a link: Try the Edit Buffer Initialization with the following steps: 1.
  18. Was the person you bought it from having this problem? It might help if you would give us the exact error message. You might try doing a full reset: (backup your settings before doing this). Try the Edit Buffer Initialization with the following steps: 1.
  19. You should be able to do that with Gearbox.
  20. This usually refers to an iLok activation code which is used for copy protection. If you purchased it new, it may be a duplicate code so you have to submit a ticket to Line6 support on the website. If you purchased it used, the person who activated it would have to deactivate it before you can reactivate it (if that's even possible).
  21. You should have backed up all your presets. It's very easy using Line6 Monkey or GearBox.
