  1. That was wacky! Your jam makes me wanna rock out! Nice job.
  2. Two projects w the FX100 pedal board D/I pc via REAPER. One yielded some funky artifacts. There's a popping or something going on in "Don't Shoot". Odd because my other RECing "Beach Party" yielded beautiful results. All tones off the pedal board. Quite pleased w/the tones I built on both these projects. 3. So far I've REC'd two songs w/my bass into the Silverface. I finished up a RECing tday using the fx100 D/I pc. All tones off the fx100 here. REC'd two guitar tracks and a bass track D/I pc. There's a strange artifact present in the audio that wasn't there on my first RECing w/the fx100. Some funny pops. Organ is off Kontakt. Drums are EZ. 4. So far I've only REC'd two songs w/my bass into the Silverface. I finished up a RECing tday using the fx100 D/I pc. All tones off the fx100 here. REC'd two guitar tracks and a bass track D/I pc. 5. I'm about a week into this unit and I found a bass amp. There's only one as far as I can tell. It sounds pretty good w/my Fender Jazz. Wish there was more variety though. In the "American" pool- "1972 Silverface Bass – Based on* a 1972 Fender® Bassman® Head paired with a 2x15 closed back cab loaded with JBL® speakers". I also just discovered that this on the web page detailing all the amps and effects. Tube Instrument Preamp – This model was created to be a solution for plugging the output from an acoustic guitar’s piezo pickup or a bass. It can also deliver some tasty tones with a standard electric guitar. With the tone controls at 12 o’clock, the EQ is “flat.â€
  6. Unit is working sweet. No issues w/connectivity today. Factory reset and pedal calibration was solid. I discovered the tablet has to be connected to the internet to save tones. Started banking my own tones along w/my favorite factory presets into "My Tones".
  7. I don't know if this will be of any help but I did a few acoustic RECs w/my acoustic gtr and mando a while back w/my UX2. I too used a condenser mic but my desktop has ample power for the UX2 phantom. Not sure what POD Farm components I used though. 8. I did a RECing first try w/my fx100. It's really easy if you have the software on your pc/mac. I use REAPER which is super basic. Also Mixcraft is easy to use. You MUST have your AMPLIFi product updated, reset, and for the fx100 the pedal calibrated. This includes downloading and installing the usb driver. Once it's all completed just plug into your pc/mac. I have been doing pc RECings for quite a few yrs now so it went pretty easy for me. Here's my first of hopefully many RECings w/AMPLIFi. Beach Party http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13539765
  9. I was having connectivity probs w/my fx100. Did a factory reset and it worked strong. Bluetooth held for my whole session which was almost two hours. My Galaxy tablet wasn't discovering the 100 at all. After the reset it picked it right up.
  10. Finally thought of a solution on my own. Did a factory reset and the Samsung tablet's Bluetooth recognized it immediately. I didn't bother w/the pedal calibration and it was cutting out really bad. I guess you have to calibrate after every reset. I was having a heck of a time trying to save some basic tones I built. I did manage to save a nice clean jazz to "My Tones" the first day. But I couldn't figure out how to save them today.
  11. Purchased a used FX100 at substantial savings and this is my third day w/the unit. Day one- Download and install both Line6 Updater and usb driver- check Update to ver 2.50.2. -check Update again in update mode- check Factory reset and pedal calibration- check Test Bluetooth connectivity, positive response w/both Galaxy7 and Galaxy tablet(SM-T230NU)- Check Test all factory presets- check Test all functions including pedal, tuner, audio playback, editing, saving, and sharing patches to cloud- check Day Two- Jam for a few hours and have fun playing w/different settings- check Connect unit to Windows10 PC and test connectivity to DAW(REAPER) w/positive response- check Day Three- Fire unit up and try to connect Bluetooth first to tablet and then to phone- FAIL Test Bluetooth functionality w/both devices on BT speaker w/positive response- Check Go to forum and post troubles- check I'm at my wits end. Tried clearing all devices and restarting all components. Failed like 6 times. Please, I need a solution, good people of the Line6 community. Thanx edit hours later- This is the RECing I did using the fx100. But the only patch off the unit is the rhythm guitar(2D: Wind Cries Mary). The bass sounded horrible patching through an empty user bank so I had to connect my UX2 interface and used a Guitar Rig5 patch. The lead is run through a blank patch in the 100 and into GR5. I couldn't find a decent sounding preset for the lead. Woulda been nice to configure one of my own. I used a clean vibrato for the lead. "Beach Party" http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13539765
  12. Also here is a list of all the presets the fx100 ships with. Shame the list doesn't detail the effects chain though. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vvhdoh6nfnt5o3m/AMPLIFi-FX100_Preset-List.txt?dl=0
