Wow, sorry to hear you just purchased this used Amplifi. Amplifi 30, 75, 150 does not work and never has worked properly. As Line 6 does with most of their products THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT for products that have been abandoned. Line 6 abandoned Amplifi several years ago and they will not help you.

As thousands of others, I own an Amplifi 150. The concept of an app controlled modeling amp is/was a great idea. If only Line 6 would have updated the firmware and apps to deal with constant bugs like bluetooth disconnect Amplifi would have been a great product. Unfortunately, Line 6 DID WHAT THEY ALWAYS DO, ignore and SCREW all the customers. After years of user complaints it was easier for Line 6 to walk away from what could have been a great product. After all, Line 6 had already made millions of dollars from their customers on a product that DOES NOT WORK and continued to sell. I thought there would be hope for Amplifi when Yamaha came into the picture, boy was I wrong.

Let's face the facts... Amplifi line has always been UNSTABLE JUNK and another total rip off by Line 6. They have made millions from us and never once tried to re-write the firmware so the Amplifi line could be usable. They just abandoned it and all of us!

Mwaiting.... Which Ipad do you have? I am using an iPad 2 and it still disconnects frequently. And forget about even trying to multitask.

Same problem here with my iPad 2. Even though I really like the new IOS interface, once again I have gone back to the Android App on my Samsung Tab S. From day one it's been a much more stable connection. I really hope Line 6 updates the Android App with the same user interface as IOS. Since I can not use ForScore App and Amplifi App at the same time on my iPad 2, I will continue to use both tablets one for each app.

Silverhead, This is exellent advice for all users. If you store the desired tones in Amplifi prior to a gig, Bluetooth disconnects will not be an issue. Mark... If I am correct, with the current firmware, the FBV Express II will only control tones stored in banks 1 - 4. You need a FBV SHORTBOARD MKII to control the tones stored in all banks.
