It's normal it's just a reminder that if you switch preset you'll loose your changes. With vibration on mine pots can move slightly and it's start blinking until I save.

in a depot near me they charge 1$ per cut. So I guess with right mesures +5$ of wood you can have your piece under 10$. I prefer the sound right now. I don't want to start the debate again but it's the 1st time I like the 2.0 spank. (more punchy and tight and body... everything)

In less than one hour I took my DT25 combo and now it's a stack close back cab. My only problem now is that I probably screw my warranty :( but not sure about this cause I only played with screws. I used one of both panel plate to close the top to have exactly the same color. Took a piece of wood and cut it by 11 3/8 per 19 3/8 Insert a jack and switch the speaker for a celestion G12 vintage 30 Glued some fake leather and that's it. (missing the 4 screws on it on the picture) If I want an open back for a specific record I will only have to remove the 4 screws of the small plate. Now I'm gonna figure out something to make the head less ugly. :) Uploaded with ImageShack.com Uploaded with ImageShack.com Uploaded with ImageShack.com

Hi, I'm gonna try the 11 string gauge to compare acoustic sounds but I wonder if there is a type of strings or brand the piezzo may prefer to be a jack of all trade in all models. thanks I'm currently using thoses: http://www.ernieball.com/products/electric-strings/1694/classic-pure-nickel-regular-slinky

Variax And Regular Guitar At Same Time
Melissiah replied to Melissiah's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Ok so "inp1=guit+aux+variax, and inp2=same" doesn't acheive the same result as "inp1=variax inp2=guitar" ? -
I opened my 89f to see how it's made and I saw 2 free sockets on board. Are they here to eventualy to plug an hex or midi controler like a gk3? Or is there anyway to use a gk3 without installing the pickup with a little soldering job?

Graphtech Ghost System In A 89f
Melissiah replied to ethyl80's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Totaly awsome sauce The feel of play is like an Ibanez RG serie of 1000$, flawless stay in tune whatever you do. Really challenge my 3k$ musicman john petrucci with the fun to play but add the versatility of the variax... My only negative point on JTV-89f is that I never use mag pickups. I think they almost suck and position #2... I can't forgive them that they made half humbucker instead of half both to sound like strat #2 or ibanez #2 or petrucci middle... but again Totaly awsome sauce -
got -1 for this? It's a fact that the video dated from april. Got -3 in total post. Some people act so much childeshly... Loggin in to blast... That remembers me when I look at some virtuoso youtubers who plays perfectly dream theaters songs and some peoples waste their time to log in and hate. Cheers and grow

Stratocaster 1.9 To 2.0
Melissiah replied to arislaf's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
Strats have no sustain? Hum I guess David Gilmour played with an LP lol Seriously I'm sure there is a slight difference between models but not in sound. I'm sure my 89f have less sustain because of floyd rose and 59 and 89 have more sustain than 69 because of their fixed bridge... -
Are you using a variax and a line 6 amp? If not you are in wrong section

Jtv Scratch And Dents Lately
Melissiah replied to ajm583's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
My korean 89f is totaly awsome. The feel is like an 1000$ Ibanez with that kind of neck profile. Only thing I modified was to put some tire-wraps to stick togheter the 6 wires from the piezzos cause they were making some noise when using bar... -
Well I'll have to trust you on this cause the only v30 I heard was in mesa recto cabs

so the custom line 6 is a better speaker than the speaker who wrote most of the rock history?
