I have a dream rig including a dt25 combo. I also have a spare new vintage 30 8ohms. I play every style of music including metal, blues prog... I can't find spec of G12H-90 Since it's not a quick task to switch the speakers to compare should I make the move? Does line 6 puts that custom speaker inside cause it's cheaper than a V30 or because they judge it's more polyvalent? (cause I know they use both in 2x12 andf 4x12) thanks

I know some guys who have to change strings every nights because of their hands acidity. Rust in one night. Maybe you have a lot of that in your DNA. I have that stuff in my mouth. Not a single dental problem because of that acidity. Nobody wants to live in my mouth lol

Yep 1st time I see all thoses debates about a good patch. Probably because there is something wrong inside it. For tonight I'll shut up and I don't want to start war and get neg-rep by 4 thousands post guys but you were the beta testers... so if you complain about it you complain about your feedbacks to line 6 and to your own work right? Or maybe you are gibson users who use strats 10% of the time... my bad I said I should shut up. I did my own test after all thoses debates and I have to say that I less hate strat 2.0 than before. 2.0 is not perfect but... I have an american standard 1993 strat with DG20 active pickups with dead strings and exg and spc board. (david gilmour setup in 80-90s) So it's not a real strat I know... Curiously they have the same output than the 2.0 (except the high E string who still suck on 2.0) But on my strat on position 1 E string suck too, not as bad as 2.0 but as I said before it's active PU so more output normaly. How can a telecaster have twice output than a strat in position one? Anyway I don't want to bash anyone who works hard but I hope for a fix soon like any online video games. If not, I'll stay with 2.0 anyway and tweak my HD500 and WBHD. And also I'll use TELE 1 instead of Strat 1 for now. By the way Zap I really like your custom 335

Porn is the biggest money makers on the web The best proof is that you can't connect to workbench HD through hd500 for now. So IMO it's not a total complete product like every games need patches after few weeks... I can live with new strat with some tweaking on my sounds and string volume but don't tell me it's normal that small E string is so thin and empty just that cut at 1:35 makes me feel sorry about new strat Come on don't tell me it's an improvement :(

I want to stay with 2.0 for now but I did 2 things to patch the spank. I used the presets of a guy who made a weird patch to fix the bug in position 2 that only use one pickup sometimes. And 2nd I raised all 5 positions by 5db in workbench hd. Still softer than LP but it's more what it should be. It was way to quiet compare to other guitars. A strat should have the same output than a tele and in 2.0 it's not the case. Are you using a JTV89? Most of the complains I saw was 89 users...

Lester or 89 High gain model? For now I prefer the lester 1. Maybe it's just an habbit. I don't feel the 89 have more gain. How about you? Also I don't like my 89 magnetics. I think the configuration is dumb. 1 bridge humbucker 2 bridge fake single coil 3 both humbucker 4 neck fake single coil 5 neck humbucker I terribly miss the kinda Ibanez setup in position 2 who is the 2 fake single coil to sound like the 1.9 strat in position 2.

I mostly love hd 2.0 but strat lost so much body. I don't want to downgrade to 1.9, just for the lester it worth the 2.0. But for now I'm using T-model 1 and 5 instead of spank 1-5. (T's are awsome btw) Yes I'm not happy with 1 and 5 too and I'm not talking about the 4-2 non-sense. 3? meh don't bother ;) Please do something quick or at least find a way to cut and paste the spank 1.9 into 2.0

Korean JTV 69 #1 Jack screw fell 1st day. Apparently the hole was bigger than the screw, mod knob never worked 1/5 Korean JTV 69 #2 mod knob never worked 1/5 Korean JTV 69 #3 mod knob never worked 1/5 I think it's time to fix that problem line 6... Korean JTV-89-f 5/5 What an awsome instrument. My 1993 strat, gibson robot, Tele and Musicman John Petrucci are almost useless now. That guitar can do everything and I love the neck.

It's flawless. I see 124 bpm on one screen and 124.5 on 2 others but... My only bug is that I can't do good accelerando (the doors THE END) with the looper rc-300 cause it's start the mesure from start everytime you tempo tap. But since it's a boss disagrement it's not bad for ya ;) Line 6 rocks

Well now that's totaly awsome JTV-89f to pod hd500 to DT25 SM-57 to G major 2 to boss rc-300 to mixer to mackies 450 The rc-300 is the main tap tempo. It send midi cc64 to pod and to g major 2 at the same time so all 3 are perfectly matched and I have stereo delays with one amp. (1/4 left and 1/8 dot right) Gotta have to learn some U2 stuff now ;)

Yep trying something else boss rc-300 looper working good with my roadrage 3 output tap tempo pedal when I use it on exp 1 pedal jack. Maybe it can send CC#64 to sync with podhd500 and use a 2nd output to sync my Gmajor2 but I don't know... Will be better if pod can send info via midi and that stupid BOSS can receive it (I read that it needs a start/stop sequence info wich makes that feature useless...). Digital data would be more accurate than an on/offf momentary stompbox using multi out (and interpretation of the signal)

Hi, anybody know if I can use the exp2 jack and how to set it to put a taptempo pedal on a pod hd 500. It may look dumb but I want to sync 3 modules at same tempo with my 3 output pedal and unfortunately the boss rc-300 is bugged regarding midi tempo not comming from a sequencer...

I use the boss rc-300 as a looper and it's incredible with 3 channels and their own volumes. JTV-89f to hd500 to DT25 In front of DT 25 I put a sm57 that goes into the mic jack of the rc-300 Then the rc-300 goes into a G-major 2 so I can use stereo delays :) without buying a 2nd amp and it finish into my PA I know that only my currently playing part sound from dt25 but that's what I want. This setup is awsome

Will be $$$$ Variax can be powered via VDI. So you will need to use the battery of the variax to power the guitar. What will be cool is if the wireless module can be powered using the variax battery. After that you need a wireless transmiter to send mags audio, another one to send digital data and a 3rd one to receive digital data. So it's 3 wireless in one lol. look at the price, even if it comes to market someday I'm not sure I'll be able to afford it.

Personnaly I haven't started yet to touch that knob. This is so much parameter to play with with eq's and comp. +1 But it's a good point cause since the guitar is the 1st in the chain it can be the most important parameter. I only know that by default the know is not at 100%.

You have 2 choices 1: Delete the fx loop block so you'll have acoustic assigned to your regular output 2: Put a cable to fx loop send jack to a mixer or another amp also in the 500 edit software on the mixer page I set in line 6 link amp 1 to mute so no acoustic go to amp. I forgot to do that in my variax acoustic patch so it's why there is a small amount of sound going into amp

Hold view button and scroll from pages and look. Since I go to a DT25 via L6 link I don't know if regular outputs are desactivated by accident in some patches. My acoustic patch use effect send to go directly to PA.
