  1. bummer, I can try when i get home obviously but , with a scene can you change a preset of a instrument ? then when you flip back to next seen it will go back ? so i.e , guitar one scene, then change preset to cello , then save as different scene?
  2. Thanks for the reply, I am upto par on monitor placement and the ringing out process, however i am doing a 10 band show and need to switch setups for a few bands who use violins and cellos so i donot want to open a new setup and loose my automatic fbs configurations when i return to the previous setup after they go on.
  3. any way of keeping the "rung out monitors" automatic feedback settings ? i know when you power off the m20d it resets them. I need to be able to swap between setups , ( one setup is a band with a cello etc) but i donot want to loose my rung out monitor configs. i am using all the input available so i need to have a couple scenes for dif configurations. the bands will be one after the next
  4. Im going to have the frets brought down to more gibson fretwire size. (having issues with open chords being sharp) anyone know what type of nut blank i can use? thinking of going bone but didnt know if anyone has found a pre cut that gets you close vs buying a blank piece of bone.
  5. Just wondering.. when setting your gain structure on mics (heil pr35) or any input really do you guys set the gain so the loudess source hits the line on the gain mixer channell? pretty much yellow
  6. if your using a l6 link cable , you can go on the back of the speaker change the speaker type to electric guitar mode then hit save on the hd500. it will them remember what speaker config you want per patch
  7. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003B20F5E/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm using the linksys recommended in the manual of the m20d. if that's the issue that's pretty disappointing I spent 100 bucks on a WiFi adapter recommended by Line6
  8. probably firmware related. I think theres some bugs in the firmware that need to be addressed for sure. 1. headphone out jack looses right side after a period of time 2. The lag that occurs during use when 16 channells are active 3. During recording with 16 channells lag is unbareable 4. using more than one ipad = lagging
  9. Yes I am , Regular xlr ends stick out so far they almost hit the ground when in monitor stance with the fold out legs.
  10. i would make sure your up to date on the firmware as well version
  11. how many channels were you running? my m20d lags alot when i use all 16 channels with dsp even though line 6 denies it i think the DSP limit is being reached

  13. I also know for a fact that during the show saturday things were taped down good and when the cut out happened no one touched or stepped on anything.
  14. I am on 1.05 for all speakers and as you can see above using high quality aes/ebu with neutrik right angles. I will one by one check the speakers l6 jacks tonight
  15. sorry i retract my post. i just realized its only on one speaker. sounds like a hardware issue then
  16. Hey this is normal. it sounds like a click almost. I believe its a prevention technique sort of like how a air conditioner works. in the even you have a power issue and power keeps turning off and on you dont fry the power supply.
  17. this is my idea to help keep those dam cables from vibrating out of the monitors. what you guys think?
  18. No problem Digital-Sound! thanks for the information eukieb42. Im wondering how you came to the determination it was trim tracking. I infact use it on all channels as well!
  19. seems to be the monitors which makes sense since those connectors are fighting gravity
  20. It kills me because the cables have really high quality connectors on them and yet the male without the lock must be the culprit still. I am thinking i need to modify the speakers to have some sort of velcro that i canstrap and help keep the cables pushed in
  21. also was the cable noticeably loose? none of the cables were fallen out when it happened to me but it did stop when i rechecked the connections and pushed on
  22. why did you replace the cables? were they just loose? are you using aes/ebu or standard mic cable?
  23. I never connect more than one cable together to make a longer cable. I replaced the ends on the aes ebu with neutrik right angle connectors to attempt to solve the issue with the cables coming loose and breaking the l6 connection. but the problem happened again. the m20d gets real laggy with just one ipad and all 16 channels being active. im worried the m20d is having issues. I also have the headphone output going to left only issue randomly
  24. So this is the 3rd time this has happened to me. very embarrassing i must say. At some point later in the show the system starts cutting in and out out of what seems like all the speakers. I am running the m20d mixer with 3 l2m and 2 l3t and one l3s vis L6 link using 25 ft Hosa 110oem aes/ebu cables. anyone else having this problem? I have a local music awards that I will be running sound for with 10 bands in a month needless to say Im very concerned http://www.amazon.com/Hosa-EBU-025-AES-Cable-Feet/dp/B000VCUOZ8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1398620770&sr=8-2&keywords=hosa+aes%2Febu
