how much did you get it for at gc in that condition?

yeah i opened a ticket for this a while back too, im sure everyone is experiencing the issue who uses 2.0 with a vdi connection allowing the pod to control the variax model changes

Try dissabling the Gate on the preset. it may be due to where the threshold is set.

I am on 2.0 my selft. I bought the guitar with 2.0 on it from sweet water. let me know what the latest version that is pop free is if you could. thank you!

not a fix to your issue but more of a recommendation..regardless of the size of the drive you are limited to a max recording time of i believe 3.5- 4 hours so there is no point of getting a large storage external. you can get a 32 gig sd card for 17$ on amazon. i would just buy multiple SD cards before I use a mechanical external hard drive imho. SD is smaller and not susceptible to shock damage etc.

I also have the same issues on the 59 with a hd500x/ reverb or delay patchs make the pop even worse

also worth noting ive tried two differnt variaxs, cables and a hd500 and hd500x same issue. i think its a limitation of the proccessor on the guitar. it also recreates the pop of unplugging and plugging a new guitar in when you switch certain guiatr models

I have the same issues as well. i noticed if you have delay or reverb effects it makes the pop 20x worse.

I own two jtv 59s in tobacco sunburst. one is a back up. seeing if anyone would like to trade a 89f for a 59.

Im listening to some tunes and wondering how they have achieved this very full sound. i call b.s on that, i was turning that knob slower than a turttle and it still does it to me. I have to test this witout ipads hooked up next.

I will try reflashing the firmware. you would think there would be some checksum that is done to verify any issues.

I dont see how peopel think reloadign the firmware fixs a issue. I work on pc hardware for a living and a firmware update yes that fixs issues. but reloading the same firmware? never . unless its because it resets the defaults of the bios

Does any one else have issues with the main volume knob? I have to turn it extremly slow or it will actually decrease the volume or get stuck going a few d.b back and forth

I have the same issue. I also notice when you have ipads connected it slows down, We have a 6 piece band and use all 16 channels with dsp , we playback music from the SD card and record the show. Id love to have a CPU/RAM meter on the next update

If i only use patch channels 1-4 is there a way to remove the rest of the patch channels so i dont accidently switch to a blank bank?

one would hope i dont need a fret job since its brand new. i like having the factory specs as a starting point

recieved a scratch and dent from sweet water and cant seem to get the buzzz out of the 4th fret area, ive tried following similair guitar spec (les paul) etc. does any one have the factory specs for bridge height and relief etc?
