Is it still best practice to leave the speakers at half moon when using a non l6 link and a different mixer ?(venues still a proud owner of the m20d but need more inputs on this gig) I imagine using p.a reference and monitor eq curves are still ideal as well as enabling feed back suppression on the speakers them self since the x32 does not provide that. thank you for any assistance!

I applied the above fix and can confirm my headphone jack is operational again. I was loosing signal on one of the 1/4 jacks half way through a show on stereo linked 1/4 channel (per viewing the wav files I was able to discover this) I am going to perform some more tests on the inputs tonight.

I did the above ground mod this weekend and my issues with the headphone jack cutting out seems to have been fixed. I also replaced monitor out d and right out male xlr ports due to the cheap switch wheel popping off and failing. I will update you guy with more info once I use the board more this week

DO NOT get a apple express! get a belkin n600 or a netgearn600 they have the option of completely disabling the 2.4 ghz signal and using ONLY 5ghz! then you will be smooth sailing... no more interference!

has anyone who received the repair taken a look at what they changed? is it just a fan swap? I do not have any reputable repair company's in my area but I am more then qualified to order say a 80mm pc fan and swap it out if that's the case

I can confirm my xdv 75 works fine with the HEil RC35 capsule (no mods needed)

Oddly enough during my tests last night I experienced more drop outs via RF1. RF2 was solid in my tests. I have 2 xdv75 and one G30 on channells 1, 2 and 4. all confirmed running on RF1 during tests.

Dboomer are you sugessting rf1 mode is the best option for the l6 devices? most places have wifi these days. Rf1 will not effect a true 5ghz wifi correct?

As always thank you dboomer for your response! I noticed with the Belkin 600 you must disable the 2.4 but also make sure you disable the guest access. I was still having issues and then I used a Wi-Fi sniffer to discover "Belkin guest running at 2.4 still! Disabled that and now I have no interference and it is right next to the xdv75!

Great video. Do I need to follow the 4 to 1 ratio with a belkin 600 that is only broadcasting 5ghz?

need to have a router to run the m20d ipad.. Just picked upa xdv-75 and attempts to have the router and xdv75 in the same rack results in interfearence and drop outs. how far away do I need to put the router to avoid this? what do you recommend in this situation?

what i ended up doing to not utilize a aux send was I made up a 1/4 to xlr male cable and used the headphone jack on the m20d mixer to feed a mono left signal of the main mix to the house P.A mixer so they could broadcast the band to the outside speakers. worked well and gave me the ability to use all 4 monitor mixs for monitors.

what is the best way to link the f.o.h mix to that monitor aux send? so when i adjust f.o.h same changes apply to that monitor out

Using the m20d with stagescape speakers via Line 6 link. can i use one of the monitor out ports to send the mono f.o.h mix?

I was having this issue as well. It is almost definitly a cable rattling out of the l6 link. What i did was I swapped the connecters on my AES cables to 90 degree xlr connectors. what that did for me was gave me the ability to secure the cables tight to the speakers with either some gaffers tape or i created a velcro system. the bigg culprit is often the monitors since they are fighting gravity

i would recommend using hdedit software to pan the left and right of the mixer to center , then throw away anything made by nady :)

anyone come up with a cool franken strat variax james tyler patch yet? im thinking strat body and maybe the high output humbucker model from the jtv87 ? share ideas?! thanks!

anyone else have this issue? where the strings sit on the saddle the chrome finish is gone and its burrowing a trench into the saddle. less than a year old and not played that extensivly btw.

my velcro mod has been working very well last 8 gigs no issues. i fasten two pieces of velcro and used the 90 degree cables to keep them tight

What vocal compression ratio do you recommend live with the dream stage setup? i know gain before feedback is a issue and wondering what people are using. thanks in advance

HD500x freezing with opto tremlo I have recreated the patch by scratch , but everynow and them my hd500x will freeeze when i use a patch with the opto tremlo effect. sound will continue but anytime i hit a button on the pod it just lights up and doesnt change patchs or activate/deactivate effects. anyone else have issues like these?

you still only get exp1 and exp2 as options so all i really could do with mine that was useful was use the expansion pedal as volume , use the built in as a wah and activate that wah with the toe switch on the hd500 built in pedal. I wanted to program the exp pedal to control delay time but it doesnt act as a third pedal

I will flip a vocal channell to fbs type vocal and then save and then go back and it is set to universal? anyone else having this issue?
