  1. OK... Good work Line 6 for working things out, but you still are not out of the woods. Anyone else still having connection drops? I just got the email from Line 6 and grabbed the update. When using the Music part of the app 2.50.0. When playing the song I want to practice with. As it loads the Tone Matches, it will load and play the song and the Tone Matches list and show also Device Not Connected.... Had to put up with this problem for a year. Still not fixed. I'm using an iPad 2 Wi-Fi model.
  2. You should have been able to restore your apps. If you did a backup, with iTunes 12 the backup file should be there. My iPad is a dedicated tool for my Line 6 amp, but I did have a few things I wanted to put back on my iPad after the restore. I was able too... I know this is a pain in the a$$. Its the only thing I could come up with to get some who want the Amplifi Remote app to work again.
  3. The app.... what about the firmware for the app to work correctly?
  4. Line 6 has had not updates since 2014, at least for the Amplifi Remote app. Its funny how I seen other apps have two updates in one day, but Line 6 said they have to wait because of Apple..... When the disconnection problem started. I called Line 6 about it... That was like months ago and still Line 6 did nothing to fix it.
  5. Sorry I didn't answer.. Yeah, have to use iTunes 12 to flash the downgrade....
  6. Line 6 has not had an update since 2014.... They had plenty of time for a fix.....
  7. Dear Line 6 Staff. You guys had a year to come up with a fix. My iPad had IOS 6 on it when I bought it just for your Amplifi Remote app. When Apple came out with IOS 7 and up, problems started. Now the Ampifi Remote app is done and no one can use it. I have called your customer support about the connection problem when this first started when IOS 7.? came out. All you guys could say is, "We are aware of the problem." Now that was about a 9 months ago, where's the fix for that? The only thing that I found out that works is downgrading IOS 9.0.1 back to IOS 8.4.1 to get the Amplifi Remote app to work on Apple devices, but the problem with this is. Not everyone has a dedicated device for your app like I do. So downgrading the IOS is not an option for them. One of my kids toys updated their firmware more the Line 6 has. I have been patient, I have complained twice to Line 6 about problems. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who has waited for some changes from Line 6 to be able to use your product with out any flaws. It's funny how other app's can be updated with no problems. Even stupid games in the App Store come out with overnight updates, why can't Line 6? Having seen two updates for the same app in one day, but yet Line 6 has to wait for an approval from Apple? Your Line 6 products, or at least Amplifi 75-150 and any other products that are affected by the IOS 9-9.0.1 update are advertised to work with Android and Apple devices. So now, this is considered false advertising? I could never get the three Android devices I have to work with your product. And now the only Apple device I have that did work (some what) crashes, till I downgraded the IOS 9. Your last update, from what the Amplifi Remote app is saying is from Dec. 2014. With all the IOS changes, you can't say that you guys didn't see this coming.... or didn't have time. Your product is working tool, or was. I'm sure there will be a lot of product returns because of this problem. With the holidays just three months away, I'm sure sales would be down as well. I am not speaking for myself. I'm sure everyone affected by this problem wishes they can say the same about this matter. From the looks of this, there are a lot of unhappy customers that are waiting for an answer other then, "We are aware of this problem." Ok, fine. Your aware. Now do something... Your first set of updates for the Amplifi came out one right after the other. It's been dead since V2.10 with no firmware updates since. This is your product, don't put the blame on someone else. Everyone has been waiting for a fix since 2014...... Step up and take care of your product.... EJCUSA1
  8. The problem with Line 6 is the Amplifi 75 and 150 are suppose to work with Apple and Android products. Line 6 advertises using the app with these devices. I bought the Amplifi 150 about a year ago. It is registered with Line 6. I had 3 Android devices that would not connect with the Amplifi 150. So, I bought an Apple iPad 2.... I hate Apple products. My iPad is a dedicated device to the Amplifi 150. At the time I got the iPad, it was on IOS 4 or 6. It worked great. No problems with connectivity. When IOS 7.? close to IOS 8 came out, I started to have problems with connectivity. I called Line 6... I sent them a message about this as well. They said that they are working on it. This was a year ago. I was given a TAG number. A lot of good it was. Still no firmware up date from Line 6 and how many updated firmware came from Apple? So the gape between Line 6 and Apple widens. As Apple updates its IOS, Line 6 Amplifi starts having more and more problems till now, IOS 9 and the Amplifi app does not work at all. So, Line 6.... Your answer for this problem is the same answer you guys gave me a year ago. "We are aware of this problem and working on it." I say BS... Line 6 has had a year to fix this... Now IOS 9 is here and what? Its going to be another year before the firmware is updated? The last Amplifi update was 2014 2.10.... Line 6 products work good, when they work. Sooner or latter.... Line 6 customers will be buying other products because of the lack of support for the products they have now. Thank You.
  9. Hey guys. I posed up a fix for this problem with IOS 9 not working. Title of my post is (IOS 9 FIX TO GET THE AMPLIFI TO WORK AGAIN) Its very easy fix and one has already got Amplifi up and working again.... I got hit with the IOS 9 updated on 9/25/15 and looked up why Amplifi was crashing. I did not find an answer. So it worked ok with the IOS 8.4.1 so I found a way to go back to the old IOS. This is not a joke.... This was the only way I was able to get the Amplifi app to work.... You Tube video of how to do this that I made as well. Title; Line 6 Amplifi & iPod firmware IOS 9 fix url... https://youtu.be/6UbaguNQWiA
  10. Hey... I have a fix for this... Its in my post for IOS 9 Fix to get Amplifi working again... Its an easy fix to get the app working again.....
  11. Hey guys.... Go to my topic for the fix to this problem....
  12. Hey all. Go to my topic about the IOS 9 problem. I found a fix for this and am sharing with all.....
  13. Go to my Topic for a fix to this problem... I have talked to Line 6 about this problem almost a year ago when Apple updated the IOS 6 to 7 and I started to have connection problems. That's been how long now and Line 6 still has not done a thing to fix this... All it is a firmware update Line 6 needs to do.
  14. Guys.... and gals. Got to my topic to get the fix till Line 6 gets off there lollipop and updates the firmware.......
  15. Look at my topic to see how to fix
  16. Wasn't hard at all Startin'.... It took me for ever to find this last night and to find the right file to download... I found that the WIFI was doing it to mine with the connection problem... at least that's what I thought till today it lost connection. I'm going to try your sound off thing to see if that works. I have tried to talk to Line 6 about this lost connection problem. This is when Apple updated to IOS 7 and Line 6 support seemed like they didn't care. I know what the problem is... Line 6 NEEDS to come out with a new firmware update.
  17. Thank you for looking at this topic. IOS 9 fix to get the Amplifi app to work again, but your on a time limit to do this because Apple will be pulling the signatures off of the older IOS's. How this works. Go to wwwiphonehackscom Type in the search How To Downgrade IOS 9 To IOS 8.4.1 Or Google, How To Downgrade IOS 9 To IOS 8.4.1 and make sure your looking at the iphone hacks web page. Step 1. Make sure you have iTune 12 installed on your computer. Step 2. What you need to do is pick Method 2 from the site, it works better and follow the instructions. It is very easy to downgrade IOS 9 back to IOS 8.4.1 and make sure you know what model your iPad is. Mine is iPad 2 Wi Fi. Use Fire Fox or Chrome to download the file. IE dose not download the IPSW file correctly. When doing this there is a file you need and the site will help you find what file you need. It's a IPSW file that has the IOS 8.4.1 firmware you need to flash it to your iPad. You can't go back farther than IOS 8.4.1 This will not fix the connection problems we are all having with the app, but you can use the app again after the downgrade of the IOS. I have done this to two of my iPads and works great. Just don't update the IOS for your iPad again till Line 6 comes out with a firmware update. All of the problems with connectivity with Amplifi and Apple is because of Line 6 and not updating the firmware. Apple IOS 6 worked without a flaw with Amplifi app, till Apple started to update their firmware. With every IOS update Apple did, Line 6 Amplifi started having problems. Now Line 6 needs to step up and update too.... Oh yeah... Back up your iPad before doing this. That way you still have your info... Hope this helps, it did for me. I was P I S S E D when my Amplifi started crashing..... Line 6 really needs to step up and fix the firmware so it can stay in the times with everyone else or no one will buy and I see this Amplifi as being false advertising because it will not work the way Line 6 said it will with your Android or Apple tablets. P.S. DON'T LET THE iPAD UPDATE TO IOS 9 OR IOS 9.0.1 TILL THIS ISSUE IS FIXED BY LINE 6..........
  18. Fix For IOS 9 To Work With Amplifi

  19. Hey I know how you feel. Its not Apples fault. It's Line 6 and not updating their firmware. You could put your Apple back to IOS 8.4.1 and getting it to work again.. go to wwwiphonehackcom and type in search How To Downgrade IOS 9 Back To IOS 8. Its easy. This is what I had to do to get the app working again.
  20. OK... there is a fix and it is easy to do. Downgrade your IOS 9 back to IOS 8.4.1 on your iPad. On wwwiphonehackscom and type How to downgrade from IOS 9 to IOS 8.4.1 all of the instructions are there to get back. All you need is iTunes 12 to do this. The problems everyone is having is the last firmware that Line 6 came out with was I think in 2014. Apple came out with several updates and as the updates came out, Line 6 has done nothing to get the app to work right. Now everyone has had to put up with connection problems and the more updates Apple came out with, the worst Line 6 app got. Now with IOS 9.0.1 The Line 6 app crashes. When I first got my iPad. It had IOS 6 on it and everything worked with the Line 6 app with no problems. I have talked to Line 6 support about this problem with the connection problems and told them with every update Apple comes out with, the Line 6 app gets worst. Line 6 support really didn't care about the problem and said its Apples fault that the app dose not work or everyone is having connection problems. One would think if Line 6 cared about their product they would be on the ball with firmware updates so the customer is happy. SO act fast on the downgrade from IOS 9 back to IOS 8.4.1 because Apple will be removing the signatures from IOS 8.4.1 and you will not be able to downgrade. I see this as false advertising now. If someone has a newer iPad or all the updates from Apple and buys a Line 6 product that clamed to work with Apple and Android and finds out it does not. I wouldn't be buying anything from Line 6 again or their product. I have had several Android devises and non of them worked with the Amplifi app. That is why I have an iPad now... and now with IOS 9 everyone is having problems. Thank you for reading this.
  21. Hey guys. I have had my line 6 150 for almost a year now. I have been having the same problems with disconnecting. It will not link up with Android at all, other than a music streamer. I bought an IPad just for the Line 6 and messes up all the time. I have contacted Line 6 about this. I had a Ticket number. It doesn't mean anything to Line 6. They don't care about your problems and are not coming up with an update to fix it. They just tell you to update they firmware to the 2.10 and that's it. The 2.10 firmware I also lost the LED light by the A,B,C,D, tone button. I would go back words in the firmware and the LED light would come back on. I thought going back to the first firmware would fix the disconnecting problems, nope.... One would think they would be on the ball to fix this... you would think. Thanks
