When I edit an effect or model, how do I save those changes as defaults so I can use them in other presets without re-editing the effect/model over and over? Example... I set up a delay exactly how I want it (or any other effect) and I want to use it in all or many of my presets... how do I keep those settings instead of starting from scratch over and over?

I had some general noise problems I'm working on, which should help some. Thanks for the advice, guys.

Quite a few... most recently the auto-swell is really bad... also the mutron clone. My setup is pretty straightforward... some pedals into the HX stomp into an Alto speaker (or sometimes Mesa amp, but not since I've had the HX yet). Let me know if you need other details, but really it's just some bypassed effects that are a problem... nothing else is causing problems. For instance, if I bypass that noisy auto swell, it's very noisy... then if I turn it back on it's really quiet. I don't want to just remove the auto swell because it works fine when it's on... it's just the bypass causing the problems. Thanks again.

I just picked up an HX Stomp, and I'm noticing that bypassed models (effects) are introducing a bunch of noise while they are bypassed. Any way to fix this? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply. By the MK, do you mean the full shortboard? I have one but I'm looking for portability. It boggles my mind that they wouldn't add some switch combo on the MK Express to allow you to switch banks, or to edit the functions to allow it. Any recommendations on a small midi controller with an expression pedal that would work?

I've been looking at buying an FBV Express so I don't have to haul my full Shortboard around. However, my question is also about changing banks. I'm reading the manual and it looks like, by default, I would have to change the banks with the controls on my Pod XT Pro, which would defeat the purpose of having the foot pedal, to me. Am I able to program the FBV Express to change banks, or should I avoid this purchase? Thanks for the help.

Hey guys... is there a way to add vocals to my presets with my Pod XT Pro? I have a mic preamp in my rack that I could run out to the Pod. What I am wanting to do is add a basic reverb and/or echo to my vocals using the Pod. I want to be able to add effects to my guitar and vocals at the same time. Please let me know if there is a way to do this and how it works. Thanks for any help you can offer, and please keep in mind that I am technically challenged (a noob), so any basic details will help me. :)

Thanks Andy... the tube screamer is working out pretty well... it seems to deaden my tone a bit, but I'm still playing with it. I don't remember seeing a DOD 250 in the stomp box list.

I noticed that there is no MXR distortion for my Pod XT Pro, and was wondering if someone could advise me as to the closest way I can emulate that sound with what is available. Thanks for the help.

It's a MKII

My previous floor effects pedal was a Vox and allowed me to control the equivalent of the "effect tweak" with the built in expression pedal. Now I have a Pod XT Live with an FBV controller. I'm just realizing that it doesn't look like I can control the effect tweak with the built in pedal and that I would need to buy yet another pedal. I'm hoping someone can tell me this isn't the case and how to set it up to control the effect tweak with the built in expression pedal on the FBV. Thanks for the help.

Is there any place to listen to samples of all the tones in the various packs? I'm interested in the FX Junkie pack for my Pod XT Pro, but I really don't want to buy it without hearing them. I searched around the store and didn't see anything... emailed support but they never got back to me.

I tried a brand new cable in it, and it has the same, slight left to right movement. I feel like it's probably normal but just wanted to check in with other owners.

I picked up an FBV shortboard to use with my Pod XT Pro, and noticed that the cord is a bit loose in the jack... some back and forth movement. It was a used piece of gear and I was wondering if this is normal for these boards, or if I should be concerned? Thanks.

Hey Bill... thanks. The way my rack was set up I wanted to run a couple boxes that don't require stomping or fidgeting out of the back and into the Pod, but I'm going to put an open shelf in there with the boxes to I can run them into the front and also carry them with the rack when I need to. So, basically I'm going to make a couple small changes in my setup so I can take your advice.

Hi... I have a stomp box compressor that I like and want to use it with my Pod XT Pro instead of the built in comp effect. Is it ok to run the stomp box into the effects loop in the back of the Pod? How would I wire this? Thanks for the help.

I just picked up a Sonic Port VX. Some initial questions (the user manual is just a diagram of the device, 2 pages)... When I have it switched to direct and using the mono front mic running the output to monitors there is no sound from the mic, just low hiss. How do I need to have this connected? When I have it hooked up to the iPad, there is no sound unless I have the Line 6 Pod app open, and then it sounds like the vocals are running through my guitar effects or something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I spent the weekend working with the pedal, trying to determine if I could live with it in the long run. The 3 main things I'm running into that I don't like are: 1) There are uneditable EQ and compressor blocks that I can't assign one of the EQ or compressor models to. That makes no sense to me. 2) I don't like that, after I select my bank and preset, the foot switches don't control an effect. I have to make a whole new preset with one little effect change to control the effects with the pedal. 3) Constantly losing bluetooth connectivity. I saw a thread, below, that a guy had posted in June about having the same problem... no reply from anyone at Line 6. Impossible to know if the problem is even still being worked on... but it definitely is still happening for some people.
