Yes but he's not God. And for most people Kemper is even too much it's not the right product. I don't like Kemper design, it's ugly to me (rack is better) and has too much knobs and push buttons. The reason why i bought Helix it's because i like the innovative design UI, extremely user friendly, and obviously sounds good, react like a real amp this is important. bingo! they are full of prejudices but they don't really know how Helix works, If someone post an A/B comparation they say it's a trick! kemper sounds better than Helix can't be very similar. a video like this

in Italy many are obsessioned by Kemper it's a like the holy grail and they think Helix is another pod. When i chat on the guitar forums there no way to break the wall, there is only one: the kemper. In former times it was the same with Apple (before Steve Jobs died) you couldn't make any critic, it was blafemy. Yes it uses only Helix internal stuff. it's very cheap, buy it.

Yes i tweaked...now i don't rember well..but i switched off leslie (or i selected slow speed?) and a spring delay that is in the patch but has no footswitch. to have a more focused sound. I played only a note at a time max two...no more. Now i'm working and i don't have helix here.

I'm happy with my Helix, it's a studio in a box and now i need less track to achieve fullness in the mix. A little blues everything except drums are made using a Squier Telecaster CV, Helix directly in a Notebook. Almost no effect from DAW, except maximizer and compressor, the usual things. I think they are reluctant to make any mod inside Helix but maybe they could be less reluctant to modify the Editor.

maybe i already voted for it so i can't vote it again. You meant graphic view inside Helix and i think it's impossible but in the editor is more doeable. In the same waythe RTA could be implemented in the Editor easily than inside Helix.

i haven't an opinion about it, i'm lazy i use the default setting, but i have collected a lot of Free IRs. It takes a lot of time to try each cab, i think it's boring. It's a jungle, too much options sometimes are worst than no options. This is a reason because many people don't like multieffects...too much things to set up...and Helix is most user friendly ever made! It's like a pandora box you start changing a mic, then the distance, then the eq of the mic, then a IR, then a mix of two cabs, but you are unsatisfied so you come back changing mic and distance and the mix of the two cabs, so on and on. At the end, drained, you come back to use Amp+cab block a overdrive and a reverb. It's like when I mix a song of mine, before i made a lot of tweaks eq, compressor, multiband, limiter delays, doubling, etc. now i've learn that less is more. I use sennheiser HD380 PRO headphones when i make Home recording and I have no problem. Very confortable and good Q/P rate.

Rest is ok. To be brief and concise. P.S. I bought Glenn DeLaune's organ simulation patch...great patch. You play at church maybe it could be useful for you. It's cheap.

Best effect of helix : univibe.Worst: fuzzes are uncontrollable they seems always full throttle (I own a real Keeley fuzz head) I wrote a request idea for less extreme fuzzes. I don't like also Leslies. Timmy is very good KWB is very good. Best amp: Matchless. The rest is ok

It would be nice if all Eq blocks could have a graphical view in the editor as the global eq .
