The fit is perfect like it is made for it.The first couple of times it seems a little too tight but then becomes perfect. The bag will loosen a little I've paid about 50 euros for the bag in italy

When i bought helix 6 months ago I need a bag immediately I couldn't waiting for the original one so i became like MacGyver I went to the keyboards section of the store to find a solution and I found a novation back pack that fit very well. So if the original bag it yet unavailable in your country the solution exist and it's considerably cheaper. The quality is pretty good.

I found the mesa cab on the fly, I don't like to spend a lot of time trying 100 cabs, but if you have more patience than me, you could find something better. I show you the way, Supro model has great possibilities of improvement...standard cab is... bleah! :wacko: Maybe trying a Celestion speaker cab you could find a black magick type of sound.

In this song i used a Supro and an free IR MESA 4x12". Supro model with his original cab is a c.rap but with the IR is a tiger. On rhythm guitar there is a simple pitch. On lead guitar a timmy and a univbe in parallel then delay reverb. I'm inspired to a '70 song. Not all IRs sound good, i find the one good for me. But it's not only me, many people use IRs. I'm starting now to explore this option and that is my opnion. Sorry i haven't it With IRs the sound is more 3D more present focused, with the stadard cab no matter which mic you use is less present. It's like a painting and a sculpture of the same thing: one is bidimensional (also if the painting is beautiful) and the other is 3D. More live.

maybe i can't express me well in english, i mean they have to make a Ventilator pedal inside Helix. For example they added extra controls in amps that in the real life don't exist in that type of amp or for example they added a mix control in the Dynacomp model, but the real one doesn't have a mix control knob. I mean if it's virtual you are free to cheat, or almost make almost one hi fi leslie and the others exactly like the old real ones for the purists

Thank youStrange it's a plug in and I only added a little bit of distortion maybe it's the sound itself of the drum kit I've chosen. I've chosen a heavy metal kit. Anyway it's only for fun. I have time only on Sunday and this Time I spend more time experimenting IR cabs so I had less time for the song. It's a demo for external IRs potential. They can make the difference. I collected a lot of free IRs it's only a little boring to find the good ones.

I'd like to an hi fi leslie who cares that the real one cut all the high frequency? i'd like to have a block simple to use like univibe or a modern leslie simulator pedal. Ah it's the only thing extra- helix. It's a VST effect in the DAW. It think i could do something similar with the filter auto wha block inside Helix, but i had the idea to use the filter during the mixing process. Next time i will try the filter inside Helix.

A little Rock 'n' roll made using Helix. I think the quality of the sounds must be measured with clean or slightly dirstorted sound and also the dynamics of simulated amps. High gain sounds are quite good in every machine on the market, infact they use always that sounds in video demo. I like to hear what kind of guitar i'm using and how it sounds, without to cover it under tons of distortion. I use a telecaster and I set a low impedance as global eq because it has many high and I think the majority of patches are made for humbucker. It should be very useful to have a pickup simulator block like in GT001 to adapt sound of a patch made for humbuckers guitar to a single coils guitar and viceversa. Don't say "buy a variax guitar!" I'm left-handed. Anyway I've found my ideal guitar...telecaster I don't want to change.

I found that diagram today but i know already he used Vox amps. Inthe pic is the most classic tom petty rig. Anyway without pic i did a patch similar to diagram an it works good a you could listen to it in my song. I could refine it more. Anyway thank you for your post.
