  1. 16 ohms? I got one of those Carvin TS100 amps it is stereo at 4, 8, or 16 ohms also got the 6l6 upgrade & I can't wait to get another one, I run a 4-12 400 watts cab at 4 ohms it can get very loud and without distorting the speakers, an all around good clean sound, which is why I hope they incorporate being able to control the amp bypass volume by assigning it to the expression peddle on the next firmware update, that's my clean channel, so go to ideascale and vote it up!!
  2. Also if you're not going to use the power amplifier portion of your amp heads/combos plug in a headphones or dead wire into the headphones jack so it turns off the output portion of your amp, a powered up amp without a load can hurt it.
  3. I have a Marshall valve state 50 watts head, I used the Treadplate in path "A" then in path "B" the FX loop send to the head guitar input then the head FX send to the POD FX return with a null amp model, then panned both to center and was able to get a sound like that of an old Create G250 the analog features of the head (the infinite span adjustment between 0-&-10 of the gain & contour) made it possible. Although the POD's digital limitations of incremental adjustment from one number setting to the next give opportunity foe fixed & easy set points, it still has some good sound & flexibility, I hope in their next update they let you assign Bypass amp volume control to the expression peddle
  4. I thought I was going crazy or my wife messing with me, cause I know I set that value dozens of times and kept finding it off,
  5. Ok the mix nob is only shown on the X edit software is this just a glitch or a mistake in the software and the nob doesn't really exist at all
  6. If there is already a post on this please redirect me, I have the PODHD500X I'm using the AC Flanger in a preset and when I turn it off the set value for the mix nob is turning to zero and not turning back up when I turn it on again?
  7. I just had to read the manual in more detail, thanks I understand now
  8. After creating a loop I see I can turn it on and off (start/stop) now is that recording the signal at the "Pre" or can I set it to record at the "post" and only play back at the "post", I noticed I made a clean with some chorus loop but I turn on the distortion and now my clean loop is also being distorted, so how do you keep the loop from playing through the signal chain
  9. Cool thanks, what were the default settings
  10. Where in the manual does it explain the global EQ and is it editable on the computer via X-edit
  11. I guess I didn't specify what I have, sorry, anyway the POD HD500X, yes the 2 amp idea will work however I was hoping for an update to allow amp parameters to be footswitch assigned as well as multiple footswitches paralleled to be assigned to the same thing so you can turn on multiple items with one press but also individually without having to double it up, also the option to control the expression peddle parameters to create multiple span sections within the actual sweep of the peddle, yeah it sounds a bit overkill but I can find a used for the options
  12. How do I assign the amp gain at a minimum of 49 to a maximum of 67 by way of the foot switch number 4, so I can toggle instead of expression peddle
