Yeah! Finally made it after a long time of trying! Line 6 HX stomp Global settings: MIDI: MIDI "on",MIDI PC Rx "MIDI, MIDI PC Tx MIDI, Turn off HX stomp Launch iPad Bluetooth "on" Launch Yamaha MD BT-01 software Switch on HX stomp In Yamaha MD BT-01 software, click on "select function" and quickly click on MD BT-01 in Bluetooth Settings to activate it. Now the program change on the HX Stomp from ForScore on iPad works.

Something like the Yamaha MD-BT01 would allow to use Bluetooth from the iPad to send MIDI messages to the Stomp. I bought a Yamaha MD BT-01 (Bluetooth/MIDI adapter) to send program change commands from the iPad app "ForScore" to my Line 6 Helix Stomp via Bluetooth. Between ForScore on the MacBook and the Helix Stomp it works fine via Yamaha MD BT-01. Between ForScore on the iPad and the Line 6 HX stomp it doesn't work. Bluetooth on iPad is active and the Yamaha MD BT-01 is displayed. The MIDI channel is set. Still no program change is sent or received. Can you help?

Thanks, I will try! But at I just loaded my old setlist and everything is chaotic now. How can I load the factory 3.0 presets again? Or wait till Helix 3.0 will be compatible to Big Sur?

Thanks, but this brought back all the old presets althought I choose Global Settings only. I am afraid this all is the problem of incompatibility with MacOs Big Sur. I should wait for an Helix update.

I have imported custom presets from my backups into Helix Stomp 3.0. These presets are now muted and I don't know how to make them sound.

For me a new phenomenon on the HX stomp occured: When I go from snapshot 2 to snapshot 1 without having changed any parameters, another effect block is switched on. Probably I have set something wrong. But what?

But it doesn´t send the MIDI program change to ForScore (the lead sheet App). Sorry! It should be the other way round. My iPad should send program a change signal to HX stomp via bluethooth.

Global Settings>Footswitches>FS3 Function>Tap/Tuner I tried this, but didn´t succeed. It works in preset mode not in snapshot mode.

This is my preferred setting: FS1 snapshot up FS2 snapshot down FS3 Tuner Before upgrading to 3.0 this setting worked well. Now I have "snapshot change" on footswitch 3 as well. How can I change it back to "tuner"

Thank you for helping me! I learned now: With stomp itself this works fine: "To adjust a parameter AND have it automatically update per snapshot, press and turn the knob." But how can I do this in HX Edit?

I was probably too hasty! I use MacOS Big Sur and HX Stomp 3.0. And there are some problems. Worst of all I find that changes in the snapshots' block values are not kept. I have set "discard" and are saving after every change of a value. When changing the snapshots the value jumps back to the old value. Is this because of the combination of 3.0 with Big Sur?

In the meanwhile I succeded to paire MD BT-01 in my HX stomp to the iPad. But it doesn´t send the MIDI program change to ForScore (the lead sheet App). I changed the MIDI settings in HX stomp from USB to MIDI and have the right MIDI channel. With a cable connection everything worked fine. Has anybody have an idea?

I'm having trouble connecting my HX stomp (3.0) to my iPad via the Yamaha wireless MIDI transmitter MD BT-01. I want to initiate a program change from ForScore. Unfortunately paring does not work with my iPad. Do I need to set something in stomp to make the MD BT-01 work?

I want to make two MIDI connections with my HX stomp. One to my iPad to change programmes in HX stomp according to the song lead sheet and the other to my MacBook to edit the presets with the HX stomp software. I don't always want to change the MIDI cable but prefer to leave two cables permanently connected. How is this possible or not possible at all?

Hello, I would like to switch from my leadsheet program (Forscore) to the respective song via MIDI the corresponding preset of the HX stomp. That works very well. But how can I then call up the corresponding snapshot with the foot switch, which I need for the lead sound of the song?
