If anyone is interested: the bug has now been confirmed to me by Line6.

If you open a preset of Helix Floor/LT/HX Stomp in Helix Native that contains a looper block, this looper block is deactivated. So far, so good. However, the deactivated looper block changes the level of the preset! Only when you completely delete the looper block from the preset, the level will be correct / as aspected. In my opinion this is a bug. Can anyone verify that?

I don't know the Voodoo Lab. The Helix Stomp sends one fixed Program Change command per preset and one fixed CC69 command per snapshot (see page 48 of the user manual). You should now see how the Voodoo Lab handles it. My submitted idea to Line6 (see above) pleads for flexibly adjustable MIDI Parameters.

Add Command Center and ist MIDI functionality to the HX Stomp The request is described and submitted to IdeaScale in detail. I think that Amp and Pedalboard guys will find exactly these MIDI functions attractive. Just because of the channel switching via MIDI. Or controlling other midi-capable effect pedals (like Strymon). The fact that the HX Stomp has only 3 switches plays less of a role in my humble opinion, since the control is usually done by selecting a preset or a snapshot and does not have to be assigned to a switch. First of all: I am cool and try to help as well. Primarily in relation to Stacey's question. No offense, Phil. Channel switching of an amp only with the HX Stomp is generally NOT possible. In rare cases Phil is right. However, the example with the Marshall shows that this is also not useful. Because if I want to use the sound of Preset 001 on the Marshall with Preset 16B on the HX Stomp, I would also have to store it on Preset 061 on the Marshall. etc.

The HX Stomp sends fixed PC commands (see manual page 48: e.g. Preset 16B sends PC 061). Even if I could set channel A on an amp to PC 061, channel A would always only be called with preset 16B. How do you think a control should work with this restriction? Name me an amp that can do that?! And in my humble opinion it is a limitation and not the design of the HX Stomp. The MIDI interface is there. Thus it is a pure software adjustment. As a Powercab Plus owner I even expect the HX Stomp to have the same MIDI functionality and therefore a Comand Center as the Helix Floor or Helix LT. How else can you control the Powercab Plus?

Hm, that's only the half truth. Unfortunately the HX Stomp cannot currently send freely definable Program Change commands via MIDI like its big Brothers (Helix Floor, Helix LT). By default only the fixed PC command of the preset is sent, which is currently not changeable. This means that it is NOT possible to control other MIDI-enabled pedals or the like. I hope that the next Update will add the Comand Center to the HX Stomp as well and give us the possibility to send Instant Midi CC and PC messages.

One of the great advantages of the HX Stomp is its compact size. Although the FS3 can be configured differently, for me this is not quite mature. In stomp mode the FS3 would only really make sense for me if it could be assigned as follows: press once = Preset Up Press twice = Preset Down long press = Tuner The references to expansion with FS4 + 5 rob the HX Stomp of its compactness. Bending down during the performance is not an option. So Line6: please improve! I have added this to the line6 ideascale. Unfortunately, the software is somewhat buggy in the current Version. The buttons with the arrows up and down do not work properly. The levels and the mic distance can only be adjusted in 5 (dB / Inch) steps with the slider. And the application crashes reproducibly when you click the arrow up button for Level Adjustment twice. It would be helpful if Line6 would program the input of numerical values via keyboard in the Software. And one voicing is named differently in the manual than in the software. Instead of LF Solo, there is LF Raw.
