Problem solved.

The Helix has an option I didn't find in any other device, neither in the expensive ones. It has relay switchers for amp channel switching. This feature alone sold me the device. I can select a channel of my AMP and I have different effects activated for each channel automatically. So convenient.

What is a coarse tunner? Is a block for the helix? To the OP: I also hate the inbuilt tunner, I bought a BOSS TU-3 and never looked back. My pedalboard is the Helix effects + TU-3 xD

Hello, I got a problem like that once with my HX effects... The problem was the cable routing. I mean, 4CM it's so confusing to get right. Like the logic states in your mind, If you are putting the loop send/return into the Stomp send/return you are doing it WRONG. HX stomp SEND goes to AMP front INPUT (NOT LOOP). AMP loop SEND goes to STOMP Return. STOMP Final output goes to AMP loop RETURN. Re-check the cables routing and re-check the 4CM concept on the manual. PD: Apart from that, the preset has to be well configured with a loop block ALWAYS ON, with the loop effects after that block. 4CM has a lot of variables to get it right. It costs a bit to get everything configured but when it's done it pays off.

Thank you, that helped. Now I have Snapshot Up and Down in those buttons. However, if I push the UP&DOWN together I go back to preset view mode. Didn't find any way to disable this, so I can have a fixed Preset or Snap view, unable to go anywhere else. That would be perfect for me, who have a big foot and 0 accuracy with the pedals playing live. Thank you!

Hello, I am having trouble playing live with the HX effects. I am the singer, and the only guitar player on my band. We play rock and we play hard. With all the show we put on I don't have 100% accuracy with the footswitches while singing, and sometimes I miss and push bank switches by error. Is any way to disable this switches? I just want snapshot view or stomp view and a pallete of options where I CAN'T make a mistake like that. I thought in putting a metal cover in the bank switches but cmon... We should have the possibility to do this... Thank you in advance!

I had the Kemper Stage and sold it because the preset changes had a lag between them. In helix the effects ON/OFF are instantaneous. Also, the snapshot changes into the same preset are instantaneous, 0 lag. So you can activate multiple effects with 1 footswitch with no latency. I haven't check the preset change latency, but for each song I have 1 preset with different snapshots (Effect parameters). My unit is the Helix effects.

Helo, I've been using my HX Effects with the 4 cable method adding some effects before/after the preamp of the amp, with the preamp added in the hx signal path like a fx loop block. This is my current preset. I have a delay and a reverb in parallel. The FX loop has the amp preamp and is always ON. Now, I want to add a second amp and put the delay and reverb on stereo. The second amp doesnt have fx loop, only input, and I was thinking on putting all into the input of the amp, even the delay and reverb. ¿Is any way to do this? Because One amp path has to process the effects after the FX loop 1 (amp1 preamp) and the second amp path has to add the effects without that fx loop1 (It doesn't need the amp1 preamp because it goes into the amp2 preamp directly). Yes and this was the feature that sold me the device. I can change the channel of my amp with 1 button and that also activates any effect I want for each channel. I have reverb always on with clean channel, for example. HX effects also has 2 relay outputs, you can use 1 for the amp channel and the other for the expression pedal.

I solved the problem. I had a wrong configuration. To use the EXP pedal 2 output the Ext Amp has to be on the options of "2 None" "2 (Tip)" "2 (Ring)" or "2 (T+R)". I was using the "1 (Tip)". So, the number on the config screen indicates the output, the EXP pedal output number.

With HX effects: I think it is a bug within the 3.15.0 firmware. Firtst, I did a factory reset on the HX device. After that, the first thing I did was to change global settings for the "Exp Pedal 2" to Ext Amp. So that jack plug will go to the amp channel input jack. The problem is that whatever I choose in the settings for "Exp pedal 1" or "Exp pedal 2", only the "Exp pedal 1" works when changing amp channel. If I plug the cable on the "Exp pedal 2" plug in the HX nothing happens whatever the settings are. Can you confirm this? Thank you

Hi, I already done that. The switching works on the "EXP Pedal 1" input on the HX effects. The switching does not work on the "EXP Pedal 2", where I previously assigned the function. That's the problem, I choose the function for "EXP pedal 2" input but it's working when I plug the cable on "EXP pedal 1" input. No sense.

Hello, I received my new HX effects yesterday. I have a very rare problem with the ext amp channel switching feature. I have the Pedal 2 selected for external amp switching. Then, I assigned a footswitch in the command center for this function. The channel switching only works when I plug the cable into de HX Pedal 1 input. If I plug it in the Pedal 2 input nothing happens. What I am missing? I selected that in the first step already. Thank you very much.

Received my Line 6 HX Effects today.... having this problem... I have the led On when the amp is on clean channel. I see only these parameters for the Ext Amp switch. The fact that it hasn't the option to invert just the led light annoys me. Did anyone sort this? Thanks.
