I gotta say, I'm not happy about the looks of that image. One distortion pedal feeding two amps and two cabs and the DSP is full???? :/

Whenever I rename a footswitch, and then decide that I want to move the location of that footswitch, it reverts back to it's original name. Does this happen for anyone else?

I finally got my Helix on Dec 29, but it took a LOT of proactivity on my part. I'd called the Guitar Center website and they told me that my initial order was set to "ship from warehouse" as opposed to "ship from a store". I was told that this meant it could ship from ANY Guitar Center store that happened to have a Helix in. So I had to have my initial order cancelled, and a new order put in (apparently without "losing my place in line). Once my local GC store did that for me, it shipped in a day (from New York) and I received it a week later. Crazy.

That sounds so awesome. I can't wait to get mine and play with my Strat, Tele, and Les Paul. I started with Pod 2, then went to a few others (Peavey Transformer 212 anyone? :D) and a few tube amps in there (Peavey Classic 30, Genz Benz El Diablo, etc). Then POD XT, and POD HD500X. You're spot on about the L6 stuff getting better and better, and more usable across the board, with all guitars.

That is so not cool. :( And it really sucks you couldn't use the Helix on those projects of yours. I've gone one I'm waiting to record as well. Just have to wait for an auntold amount of time. :/

I did the same thing as Frankie, except I was told "3-5 business days" until I can pick up my Helix. So I didn't sell the car weeks or months before the new was was available... just a few days. Yes, maybe Line 6 will see the whole launch as something incredibly positive, but their lack of transparency on the supply of the Helix is atrocious.

No doubt. I'm at my wits-end here. I'm upset with GC, and I'm upset with Line 6. I just want what I paid for. That's all. Maybe it's my fault for "pre-ordering".

I just called the Guitar Center website for an update on my order. On 11/19 GC told me I'd have it by Thanksgiving. Then they said "looks like it's closer to Christmas" two days later. 11/30 I was told it would ship Dec 2. I called Dec 2 to make sure it shipped, it did not. I was told it was backordered, but should ship Dec 18. I called 12/9, they said the same thing (will ship Dec 18). Today I called and they said it's backordered and should ship 1/18. This is not cool. My card has already been charged (as I traded gear in for the Helix, like lots of other people). Hell, I have the Helix already paid off. This is all very upsetting. :/

The Divided by 13 really has me intrigued. Combining that with a Bassman 4x10 sound I think would yield some awesome tones.

Do you do the tuning on the guitar itself, or on the Helix? I've heard the tracking is really good, but I've also heard the tracking is lollipop.

Just curious what styles of music you guys play, and which amp models you're diggin' in the Helix. Should be getting mine after the 12/18 ship date I was told... but not too confident that's when it'll be. And of course I love to hear what others are sayin' about this thing. Hit me!
