I was definitely playing through a clean patch. Hrm, interesting. I wonder how Glenn does it. That's good that the DigiTech is nice and clean, I just don't want to drop more cash. Pun intended. :lol:

Can't figure this out. Tried again last night, and it sounded absolutely awful. Guitar was in perfect tune (standard). Tried going 1/2 down and...... ugh, horrible.

OMG YES on the Plimsoul! However... I'd love to see more distortion boxes, as overdrives seem to be plentiful. Wampler Triple Wreck Distortion, Suhr Riot, Mesa Throttle Box would all be awesome to see in the Helix.

I'll resurrect this a bit... I think it'd be cool to see a Bad Cat amp in the Helix.

To elaborate on the part in red... if people don't already know... pressing the AMP button will toggle between amps when you have a patch with multiple amps. That will speed up the process. (shown attached) -

What’s the difference between the Line 6 original amps: Elektrik, Doom, and Epic? Anyone use them? (I'm at work so I have to live vicariously through you guys since I can't play through them right now)

It was set to MIC. DAMN IT! I'll try recording again via USB tonight. In the meantime I was using my Scarlet 2i4. Thanks Duncann!

Being able to switch the buttons around would likely be a good update, but I've not once had an issue with the operation of controls. I have to respectfully disagree; as I find the controls to be very intuitive.

I run XLR out of the Helix to Yamaha HS-5's. Helix master volume around 3 o'clock to sometimes max (5 o'clock).

Helix recording to my PC via USB seems to be a very low volume. Anyone else noticed this?
