Free presets (link below) and pack update : I used a new procedure to convert my acoustic IRs into HX Stomp (and Helix) format, and re-tweaked all the presets from the HX Stomp acoustic Simulation pack accordingly. This video shows the 10 presets for a Fender Stratocaster. New pack for HX Stomp : This pack has 102 presets and 101 IRs for the HX Stomp with firmware 2.91 and above. The idea was to use as many different electric guitars/pickups as possible and make acoustic simulation presets for each of them, to maximize the chances to have presets that will fit your guitar. These are brand new presets, not a simple conversion of the Helix versions : I used 5 different acoustic guitar sounds sources to make these, so for each instrument/pickup selector position (like a Fender Stratocaster in neck position), there are five different presets, each using a specific IR made from one of the five acoustic sources. I like them a lot, a lot more Strat-like that the Gilmour set - which was good but didn't have the almost too much sparkle I like in Strats !

How many riffs can you recognize, friends ? These are some riffs I liked to play in my younger guitar years, and most are from the 70's-80's. Some are well known, some not so much ! It's not meant to be a really coherent medley, I just pasted together songs I liked to play, and even covered with my bands. I didn't try to nail the original tones, I just used a few presets from my "Classic Rock & Hard Rock Pack". Sometimes there's not enough gain but that's how that pack is, most of the riffs here are from metal bands but this is a classic rock/hard rock pack ;)

Boston it is, of course :) Here's my take on the classic Rockman X100 sound. This is a bonus preset added to the "Classic rock & hard rock" pack. The faulty presets had also been fixed, so grab the update on my website !

Thanks for your comments, made my day ! I'm going to add a bonus preset with the classic sound from a very popular New England band of the seventies/eighties, and also fix a small bug on a few presets (delay volume to high in lead scenes)

This is only a temporary demo for the "Classic rock & Hard Rock" pack, focusing on tonal variety. I'll make a better one when time permits

Glad you like them ! I just updated the full pack to firmware 2.82, all the presets were reviewed and many received new snapshots, + all the snapshots were named, you just need to download the zip file again to get the new versions

All the presets were reviewed, a few bugs were fixed (trails were off on some reverb blocks etc), and the snapshots were named where needed. Almost all presets now have various snapshots. This is of course a free update for current owners, they just need to re-download the zip file.

IMPORTANT UPDATES My Helix Big Pack, the very first one I released, just received a complete firmware 2.82 update. All the presets were reviewed, a few bugs were fixed (trails off on some reverb blocks etc), and the snapshots were named where needed. Almost all presets now have various snapshots. This is of course a free update for current owners, they just need to re-download the zip file. I also released a new pack, Classic Rock & Hard-Rock. It's my second biggest pack with 128 presets, and uses all amp models suitable for classic rock/vintage hard rock tones, including all the amp models added with firmware 2.60 (Cali Texas Ch1, Placater Clean) and firmware 2.80 (Fullerton Nrm, Fullerton Brt, Fullerton Jump, Grammatico Nrm, Grammatico Brt, Grammatico Jump, Revv Gen Red). I usually use modern superstrats to make presets, but this pack was made with a Gibson SG and checked with other classic type guitars (Les Paul, Stratocaster, Telecaster). If you're into classic rock, and hard rock from the seventies (and some eighties too), look no further ! Last but not least : there was a Megapack for my first 5 packs (Big Pack, Big Pack Add-On, Synthpads & Tonematches, Starter Pack, Acoustic Pack) ; there is now a new bundle for my three other packs (2.30/2.50 Pack - Djent & Prog Metal - Classic Rock & Hard-Rock), at a reduced price.

Firmware : 2.82 (Helix Floor) I'm unable to write any preset on memory 8A, 8B or 8C on user bank 3. I can rename them, but as soon as I try to overwrite them/modify them and save them, the screen goes dark. This is either with the editor or directly on the machine. Loading a setlist on that bank doesn't work either

There has been multiples updates since the one you've got. Three in 2018, two this year, latest one for firmware 2.70. Lot of bonus content added. The zip file now has 10 folders. besides that, the expression pedal problem was a Helix bug resolved by Line 6 long ago. I now remember that.

I am sorry you are experiencing this, but if no one tells me that, how could I know ? I'm pretty responsive regarding these things. I've also added many updates and bonus to this pack, which you can download. I'm still selling it today, and no one has ever complained about these problems. I only received kudos from recent buyers. Did you download the latest version?
