Yes, I tried all this

Wondering if anyone uses such an amp with the Helix ? Unlike its bigger brothers, it's a two channel amp, with a simple footswitch, using a mono jack. I assumed channel switching by the Helix would work but it's not ; as soon as I plug in the cable, it goes to the blue channel. With the cable unplugged it's either the blue or the green. Anyone has an idea ? Cheers, Fremen

You can drag & drop any number of presets from a folder to the editor, on a single pass... That's what I do

1 : no, because I only use my IRs, which I custom made, I don't like to work someone else's idea of what a cab should sound like/be miked etc. Of course I can get good sounds with the stock cabs but I don't like them as much as real IRs 2 : I probably will have Black Friday and Christmas sales, yes I forgot to share my latest Helix video here :

The Variax presets are in a specific bonus folder, it's the Pink Floyd presets for a second guitar player (not Gilmour)

Hi guys, important announcement : the Big Pack has been updated (both through the e-junkie service and in my website) with around 18 presets that I customized for the rhythm guitar player of my Tribute to Pink Floyd band. Each of this preset is for a specific song. As the rhythm guitar player also sings, in each preset, left channel is for guitar, right channel for voice (specific delay settings which he can trigger when needed). The presets also uses Variax models (but a regular guitar will work), and I included my Variax bundle too. Here's a few videos from that gig. I use a Axe-Fx, and as stated, the rhythm guitar player uses a Variax + Helix

Great, have fun with the sounds ! :)

Absolutely

Thanks for your comments guys ! TDR is just my initials

Thanks dude, have fun !

They either sound the same or slightly better, as some amps were improved apaprently

Hello, did you experience this before updating to 2.20/2.21 ? There was a bug regarding using the volume pedal with EXP 1 instead of EXP 2, which I do, and it was fixed, maybe it changed the presets behavior. If that's the case, I'll fix this for 2.21, only a few presets are concerned

Recorded with my favorite amp model, Archetype lead B)

Thanks dude ! A tip for those who has the synthpad presets : bypass the first and second modulation blocks, and then the opto reverb, to hear the naked sound of the 4 OSC block. The first modulation adds some movement, the second one smooths out things (you can fine tune with the tone knob to make it more or less dark), then the reverb adds some shimmer, which makes the synths sounds a little like a strings section.

There's 16 IRs but 10 were already in the Big Pack, so there's six new ones, from 099 to 104
-
They're included ; IRs needed for my presets always are. It's the first time that I'm allowed to use commercial ones :)
-
Thanks ! It's N°101 It uses a few IRs from the Big Pack, but not that many. There is much more IRs, and also presets, in the Big Pack

The two new packs are now available ! https://fremenpresets.com/downloads/category/line6-helix/

No unfortunately... The presets are ready but I'm too exhausted to write the presentation and do all needed for my website... It will be for Thursday At least I recorded a video :

I hope to release the new pack Tuesday night. The presets are ready, I just need to record a video and contact my Webmaster, as I don't know yet how to add packs to my website Here's a taste of things to come : I made almost 10 presets like that, most based on popular guitar songs, they're very fun to play :) @twpmeister : I'm not sure my presets are for you. My focus are on amp+cab tones, so FRFR is recommended for my presets.

Yes, compatibility is assured in all Helix versions - including the upcoming VST version A new video, using the Archetype models :

Thanks for the video ! I'll test that today. I also remember I saw a video with a EVH III 50 watts but can't remember the name on youtube... However if that one works it won't be necessary
