  1. At last, here's a demo for the Pod Go version of my pink Floyd presets !
  2. I never get bored with them for sure ! :) I just released a video demo for my Pod Go Pink Floyd presets :
  3. Indeed, you need to know what you're doing. I've started using IRs around 2005, way before they became popular, and I've been making my own for 10+ years now. And yes, I wrote electro-acoustic instead of acoustic because, in my experience, simulating a real acoustic guitar falls short - it somehow sounds like a recorded acoustic, yes, but but not a great recording of one - not something I would use for recording. In my experience, simulating the piezo sound of an electro-acoustic works better with an electric pickup. I know that not anyone love piezo sounds though. Of course, it's just MY experience, it may work much better for others.
  4. The best IR you can use to simulate an electro-acoustic with an electric guitar is the one one you make yourself, in a specific pickup position. An IR made for a Telecaster neck pickup won't sound the same with the Strat, although it would probably work too. But making IRs requires some skills
  5. I have no problem cutting through a band of 12 people, including a second guitar player and 2 keyboards players. Here I'm using an Axe-Fx III but the same presets I made for the Helix and HX Stomp works as well, several times I used my Helix in rehearsal - our rehearsal room is a big space with full PA and enough space for 60 people
  6. Some parts of a song from my band, with guitars reamped through Helix Native v 3.0, using the Das Benzin (Diezel VH4) amp model. Song : "Priceless innocence", by Feedback, originally released in 1991, and re-recorded for Feedback's second album, "A moment of transition" (2009). Full version of the song (not with Helix though) here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gP2s6_65p4
  7. Free 3.01 presets added to some of my Helix & HX Stomp packs ! Helix users : I added bonus presets in the following packs : - "The Djent pack" : 2 new presets (with Das Benzin amp models) - "Big Pack add-on" : 12 new presets (with Das Benzin and Us Princess amp models, and some new effects too) HX Stomp users : I added bonus presets in the following packs : - "Djent & Prog Metal" : 2 new presets (with Das Benzin amp models) - "Cleans" : 6 new presets (US Princess amp model) - "Metal" : 4 new presets (with Das Benzin amp models) To access the new presets, just re-download the .zip file from the "purchase history" section of my website ( https://fremenpresets.com/line-6-helix/ and https://fremenpresets.com/line-6-hx-stomp/ )
  8. End of year sales are now on ! get -25% on all my presets packs with the code "BYEBYE2020" New : I ported my Rockman X100 tonematch preset to the HX Stomp (Rock pack) and the Pod Go (Metal vol. 1 pack) :

  10. Hello ! I have no control on how the presets are distributed from marketplace, but I received this guide to help customers : For Purchased Marketplace Presets and Impulse Responses: • Download your products from the Marketplace section within your Line 6 account page. • Unzip the downloaded files. • Import presets and impulse responses into HX Edit, Helix Native or Pod Go Edit (product dependent). o Follow the user guide for each application for how to import these assets. o The Editor will need to verify your purchase online and will post a log-in dialog. Please log in with your Line 6 account credentials. Your log in data needs to be identical to the one used for your purchase. Authorization will occur automatically. Marketplace products have minimum software and firmware requirements as follows: • Helix/HX firmware version 2.9 or higher • HX Edit software version 2.9 or higher • Helix Native software version 1.9 or higher • Pod Go software version 1.1 or higher Most download issues seem to be solved with the following approach: 1. Confirm you are logged into Helix Edit, HX Native, or Pod Go Edit 2. Go to Line6.com. In the lower right-hand corner of the window, you'll see "My Account." Click it and hit sign in, and you'll be asked to enter your Line6.com login info. 3. You will need to authorize the computer you are using for the download. Hope that helps !
  11. If you don't have the Helix version, you can try it, for sure ; but the Helix version, with more CPU power, has more stuff, and most presets cover a full song, with snapshots.
  12. No, it cover the same songs, but for the Pod GO, many songs needs multiple presets, where with the Helix, I used snapshots. The Pod Go is much more limited, no dual amps etc
  13. Now also available for the Pod GO, the Pink Floyd presets pack, with presets for 26 songs. If the demo is for the HX Stomp version, the sounds for the Pod GO version are exactly the same These 81 presets covers 26 Pink Floyd songs : Another brick in the wall Pt 1 & 2, The happiest days of our lives, Breathe, Comfortably numb, Echoes, Goodbye blue sky, Have a cigar, Hey you, High hopes, In the flesh, Marooned, Money, Mother, On the turning away, Run like hell, Shine on you crazy diamond, The final cut, The great gig in the sky, Time, Us and them, Any color you like, Brain damage/Eclipse, Wish you were here, Young lust (with “Sorrow” intro). Also included are 8 user cabs (IRs). Pack available here : https://fremenpresets.com/downloads/pod-go-pink-floyd-presets-pack/ The songs are those I play with my Pink Floyd cover band. Most of the time we cover the original studio versions, sometimes it’s the live versions. For “Mother”, we play the Roger Waters “The Wall” live version ; for “Any color you like”, the Dream Theater cover version. “Money” is tweaked for the “Delicate sound of thunder” live version, “Comfortably numb” too. Note that I used an Axe-Fx II, then Axe-FX III, live with my band. This pack, made after receiving many requests, is a recreation of those Axe-Fx presets, also available for the Line 6 Helix (in my "Big Pack") & HX Stomp.

  16. Still having problem with this too. I tried everything suggested in this thread, nothing works. This affects both HX Edit and Pod Go Edit for me. And both used to work a few weeks ago
  17. Thanks ! I'll forward this to the user :)
  18. Wondering if someone here experienced such a bug : Yesterday I helped a customer to install presets & user cabs (he purchased my presets) via Team Viewer and HX Edit - we're in different countries. His Helix is under firmware 2.92, my presets 2.82. Impulses installation went well, however, there was some bug while installing the presets : Their names on the HX Edit editor panel were fine, but the left part, with the presets list, was still displaying the names of the presets that has been overwritten. There was also an error message, see the screenshot. In some cases, the original presets stayed, despite being overwritten with new presets. Is that a known bug ?
  19. Thank you, glad you like them ! You can leave a comment on the main thread if you like :
  20. I just released 5 POD Go presets packs, for covering all the music genres I like to play : They should soon be on the Marketplace, as I've just sent them to Line 6. They're already available on my website : https://fremenpresets.com/pod-go/
  21. Thanks soundog, can't wait to hear that album !
  22. Free presets (link below) and pack update : I used a new procedure to convert my acoustic IRs into HX Stomp (and Helix) format, and re-tweaked all the presets from the HX Stomp acoustic Simulation pack accordingly. This video shows the 10 presets for a Fender Stratocaster. You can download two free presets, and their IRs, from this pack here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/lanbxk4xr5uowgc/HX Stomp acoustic simulation free samples.zip?dl=0
  23. New pack for HX Stomp : This pack has 102 presets and 101 IRs for the HX Stomp with firmware 2.91 and above. The idea was to use as many different electric guitars/pickups as possible and make acoustic simulation presets for each of them, to maximize the chances to have presets that will fit your guitar. These are brand new presets, not a simple conversion of the Helix versions : I used 5 different acoustic guitar sounds sources to make these, so for each instrument/pickup selector position (like a Fender Stratocaster in neck position), there are five different presets, each using a specific IR made from one of the five acoustic sources. Each preset also has 3 snapshots. https://fremenpresets.com/downloads/hx-stomp-acoustic-simulation-pack/
  24. Thanks for your comments ! I don't currently do presets by request, maybe in the future... However my next pack will probably be about song based presets, songs that most heavy rock cover bands plays, and I'll probably throw in some Satch songs too
