Thanks, is there,however, some way to bypass the supplied amp setting.....or must I just use a "clean" setting. Reason I ask is the Clean don't really seem all that clean.

Any way to get a CLEAN Pass through on Podfarm, if I wanted to use the settings and tone from the spider amp?

Don't mean to highjack the thread, but....I have. Line 6 spiderjam amp, and it has line out jacks (RCA) and i've wondered if that could be routed into the ux2.

These should be WAV file format. What you need is a utility that converts WAV into MP3. Do a google search for WAV to MP3 or whatever you need.

any chance you have a pwr cable running along side or over the UBS cable, or over your insturment cable?

Belive I have soloved "MY" issues with this. My UX2 has 1/4 inch cables to a set of powered M-Audio monitors. When i would plug in the UX2 and startup PodFarm.. the needles would peg and a lot of feedback happened. Multiple restarts and reboots, never fixed the issue once it occured. I disconnected the speaker cable from back of the UX2 and re-connected it...and the problem has gone away. Not sure really why....but....appears some issue with the UX2 and Speakers somehow. Feed back, whenever I powered up the UX2, then started PodFarm. at least HALF the TIME I tried it.

multiple instances - pod farm 2.5x can be licensed and used on up to 4 devices at a time So, how do I install my licensed copy of 2.5 on my second computer?

FFLBRGST thanks for your replies....... yes, i've tried it plugged in first and, unpluged till after boot up, aso, front and back USB ports..... get same results. Good news is.....last night, no changes made on my end. This morning.....not so much Just seems to be intermitent... but anoying.

No....... pretty sure that is not the issue. I"ve made changes to the "last" used setup, so when i open PF it is with a different setup than before...... same thing happens. Also..... that would seem to not address the few times that it does seem to work. My suspiction is that maybe i have a bad USB port....maybe a broke solder joint. OTherwise, i suspect that is some Win 7 / sound system / thing that is starting and adding the distrortion....just not sure how to pinpoint that. Whick i hope is the case, and once i'm pointed to it, i can correct it.

"Most" times when i start my computer (Win 7) then plug in my UX2 then start Pod Farm....... the needles spike then reset to about 3/4 scale, and i get a lot of distrotion and feedback. Start stop Pod farm , same results Unplug and reconect same results. Reboot and reconnet same resluts Have loaded most current drivers from the Monkey ( in fact did that after on really bad day....and it seemed to work fine) but... back to same issue. Then.... every so often.... it just all works. Looking for some ideas........

Was looking at the Pod farm and GearBox "free" posting above BY bigchas52....but when i go to Line 6 site find this For owners of eligible Line 6 hardware (other than TonePort DI Silver or Gold Plug-in Bundle or TonePort UX8) plug-in processing requires the purchase and activation of a license from the Line 6 Online Store. not sure where the FREE part somes in.......... Anyone?

Ok, but since I have a licensed version of pod farm, will I be able to use that? Or are you saying, the toneport device is not able to utilize a licensed copy?

Thanks for your replay. I actually have the current pod farm, with a ux2.... But the crappy usb jack is broke. So I was looking at used toneports as replacement. Not sure I understand you comment about plug-in not working.

Will the old toneport ux2 devices, work or can they use, pod farm software?

Have had similar issues......... and mine ( at least) seems to be the USB output connection on the UX2 itself........ if i fiddle around with it, after a while it seems to work. About a 60/40 % chance of working first time. Doubt there is a fix for this.....just a BAD USB port IMO

I see where i can rename a AMP setup........ but....... can't seem to find a way to rename a Pedal ( along with its setting) independent of a AMP setup What I'm trying to do is....catalog the pedeal and FX effects gear that I tend to use..... independent of a Amp\Cab combo
