  1. I've saved recordings to the SD card and transferred them onto my desktop. However I cannot figure out how to play them on my computer to play in iTunes or load them on to youtube. I want to be able to play them other than on my amp. I read the spider jam advanced guide and I didn't see anything that would help. Please advise.

  3. Hi everybody! Not sure if people generally do this here, but I wanted to share my YouTube channel with you all. I'm planning to start uploading more regularly and hoping to reach a bigger audience. I play a few different styles and you'll see that in my videos. All my guitar videos were recorded with the Line6 POD HD500X. And all upcoming videos will most likely be using the same unit. I appreciate all who take the time to check it out! https://m.youtube.com/user/AmarAAguitarist Feel free to follow me on Instagram as well. The link can be found in the description of all my videos or below: https://www.instagram.com/amars_music/ Thank you!
  4. I have followed the directions in the Helix manual as well as searched the forum and googled, but I cannot get music playing via YouTube or other player on my computer to play through the Helix. The manual says I can play along with YouTube or other player, but I cannot get it to work. I have USB hooked up and can see that there is audio playing via the Helix speaker in Windows (10) audio control panel, but I cannot hear it through my speakers that are connected via XLR output from the Helix. Both the input and output of the Helix are set to Multi, per instructions. Anyone know of a solution?
  5. I've been working on Metallica tones for their first five albums. The goal was to get as accurate as possible. Here's where I ended up! The video quality varies quite a bit but all the guitar playing is recorded direct to the computer via USB with no mixing or any kind of extra processing added. It's straight Helix. Seek & Destroy for that gnarly, old-school metal Kill 'Em All tone Fade To Black with Hetfield's revamped and modded Marshall tone
  6. So I recently purchased a Pod Studio UX 1 that also comes with PodFarm. I load up into PodFarm, find my MIC, set the bit-rates, etc. But here's my issue. I go into the audio control panel, and when I talk, I see that under Recording the UX1 interface doesn't show any movement of Audio. Yet in PodFarm 2.5 I see the audio in Input and Output move up and down. Where is it going? I have plugged my headphones into the PHONES jack on the front just like it says. I'm able to hear all of my PC's sounds, along with myself when talking into PodFarm with the effects. (Really wish I couldn't re-hear myself) When I do load into recording programs, the closest one I can get working is Adobe Audition, which makes me use ASIO. But as you know, the ASIO method is the worst when you're trying to use this with things like OBS and Skype. (Because then they won't take any MIC audio) So, if you could PLEASE HELP me, I wanna know where my audio is going. It seemed that I should just be able to plug my MIC into the UX1 and PodFarm should make an output through the Audio Interface in my Audio Control Panel. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help! BTW: All drivers are up to date. System Specs: OS: Windows 10 CPU: fx-8350 RAM: 16 gigs MIC: Cad GXL 2200 w/ Phantom Power Box
  7. Will my Line6 UX2 work without registering and activating? When I type in the number at the back of the box registration fails. My version has Pod Farm and Reason Limited. There are only 2 disks in the box. I bought mine form Simon at Vibes Music, Plymouth Devon England. How do install the software? Initially I want to monitor over headphones. Will the software install automatically when I pit the disks into my Optical Drive? My PC is running Window 8, I think. There are are two USB sockets at the front. It's an Asus Essentio Series 'Vision'.I did consider exchanging my gear for the cheaper UX1. I'm used to tape based recording on multitrack tape machines with mixing desks.I have set up a Line6 account as the YouTube video says to do. But when I go to the account, nothing is registered. My email address is nevillepearson1@gmx.com I want to add vocals to backing tracks with overdubbed acoustic and electric guitars, drums, bass, and other Reason instruments. I also have an Inline Midi interface and a Roland PC160-A Midi keyboard. How do I set that up to play the Reason sounds? I also have a small Roland Cube practice amp with it's own effects. With a Line output. Can I DI that into a line input on the UX2? My microphone is a Red5 phantom powered condenser. I have a cheap Aria Fender Strat copy with a active pickups. A Martin and Taylor handmade Spruce Top steel string acoustic guitar. An Epiphone Gibson 335 copy.. And a nylon strung classical guitar. I play most styles. Rock music, , modern jazz. I like Led Zep, Genesis, Allan Holdsworth Joe Pass, , Fingersyle folk music, Clean electric sounds and very smooth sustained electric soloing sounds. Even crunchy heavily distorted 'Heavy Metal' stuff. And once I have recorded some tracks, how do I master them? After mixing down to a file? Can I produce MP3's? What kind of blank CD's do I need to produce copies to send to record companies and give to friends? Does the software include CD burning software? It's best if you reply here and also to my email address, as I'm not sure that I can get bet back onto this forum. Many thanks. Neville, nevillepearson1@gmx.com
