  1. How about an HX Stomp Plus? Basically an HX Stomp with more processing power.
  2. Unless the auto-save feature is on.
  3. Forgive me if I am missing the obvious but is there not a way to control the overall output level of the xlr out in the software? Edit: Nevermind. I am just getting back into the Helix and haven't used one in a while. So you all are basically gain-staging your presets so that you end up with a certain max output level that is balanced across all presets. I have always done that to a point but I am usually somewhere between 12:00-3:00 on the master volume with the xlr outs disconnected. It would certainly be cool if we could have an output level control in the software. The Kemper has a simple output mixer that controls the different outputs separately as well as which ones are affected by the mater volume knob. -Frank
  4. Has anyone tried going out of the XLR on the G10 to the Return XLR on the Kemper? I don't like the way the G10 rolls off the high freqs on the 1/4 side. It is very noticeable to me and the XLR is not supposed to have the "CableTone" eq on it. Thanks.
  5. Thank you so much. :)
  6. +1 This would be a great feature for me as well. I only use two snapshots and it would be cool to have them on two switches in 8 Stomp mode. Thanks!
  7. The trick with the Barefoot Buttons is that you touch the screws to use the capacitive functionality.
  8. These are some great sounding IRs. They are quickly becoming my go-tos.

I just bought a few of the 3Sigma packs. I use the OH and I have the Redwirez which I am not crazy about. We'll see how they sound. This is fun! :)
  10. If I plug into the left (mono) input should I get an output on both output jacks? Thanks, Frank
  11. I just bought the VX after doing some research and I figured it would be a good interface for songwriting and demoing while traveling. Then I found out a) you cannot use the guitar input and the microphone at the same time. b) you can't have the guitar with effects (Mobile POD) run through the VX and into the pc - you can't use the USB and the Lightning port at the same time. I don't understand why they would even have a Desktop driver for the VX. What purpose does it even serve realy? Anyway, I am returning mine as soon as I get back into town and I will probably buy a Scarlett 2i2 or something like that. Bummer
  12. This is what I am just finding out myself. It is disappointing that you can't record sounds from Mobile POD or Jamup to the DAW on PC. I will probably be returning mine because of this.
  13. I just bought a Sonic Port VX and it works great with Mobile POD and Jamup when jamming and practicing. I want to use it to record into Reaper and it works fine plugged into the USB 3.0 port on my laptop but when I connect my iOS device (iPhone 6) the ASIO driver crashes. I am really hoping the Sonic Port VX is designed to work this way because if not, I will probably return it and look for another device. Thanks -Frank
