This is a free IR. Ive enjoyed it inside TH3 for a while now. Ive tried to load it in Helix, but it gives no sound. There doesnt seem to be any similar complaints on the net. Has anyone had any success with this IR? Inside or outside Helix? Also, i havent been able to get this IR to work in ANY capacity, other than inside TH3. Ive even downloaded it from different sites on different occasions. Any clue what gives? Thanks!

Hi - I was just in the process of putting together a pedalboard with MIDI switcher and effects pedals to change channels / presets on Diezel VH4 and for fx. I just realized that the Helix might be able to cover off both of these. Can anyone confirm or attest to using the Helix in 4cm with a VH4 to change amp channels / presets and be able to use fx before amp and in loop? Unfortunately I just don't know enough about MIDI yet to answer my own questions or understand potential limitations. I see people are doing this with other amps though. If it works though would end up being cheaper / simpler than direction I thought I had to go, so potentially very cool! Thanks

It has come to my attention that certain amp simulations that were available on previous versions of the POD aren't available on the POD HD500x. I'd like to know why that is. In my opinion, metal players could appreciate the inclusion of those two models...

Dear forum members, I'm new to midi programming, so I'd love to ask you a couple of questions. I just purchased a Diezel D-moll amp. I'm connecting my POD via the 4 cable method. Also the amp has a MIDI input, so theoretically the channel controlling is possible, but I have no clue how to set up my POD, please advise. The programming of the Diezel is piece of cake, please see page 16. The amp will remember the incoming midi signal. How do I set up my POD presets to send a midi signal? I read the manual, so I know that I can assign specific midi messages to footswitches, but I don't want to press a footswitch twice, i want to switch with a single step. For example, I'd love to have a clean tone on the 1st banks A preset, a crunch tone on the 3rd banks A preset, and a distortion on the 3rd banks A preset. "A" preset is controlled everywhere by FS5. How do I make FS5 work on different banks? What kind of midi signal should I send out from my POD device to change the amps channel when switching presets. Thank you very much for your answers! Cheers! Alex

I'm a french user of the Diezel Herbert, I recently bought it and doesn't have any foot controler yet. I have a rack configuration and I would like to add a multi-effect rack such as the POD HD PRO. Can you tell me if is it possible to control it with the Columbus and save different tones ? Using a simple midi cable to connect them. I ask the question because some guitarists who use the POD seem to meet some problems when they want to connect it to a midi controller which is different from a Line 6 model (FBV,etc..) Thank you very much.
