pianoguyy
So far, I haven't tried. I have so many patches, and so much going on, that I substituted them - not re-worked.
edstar1960
So far, I haven't tried. I have so many patches, and so much going on, that I substituted them - not re-worked. OK - thanks. Do you remember if they were all for a specific amp/cab/mic combination? And if so - which amp/cab/mic combination? The upgrade was meant to be transparent - so if a particular amp/cab/mic came out of it worse than before then it would be good to know and relay to Line 6 - so that whatever went wrong can be addressed. Thanks.
pianoguyy
I was actually going to mention the setups, but I am not in a place for a full list. Where I am right now, I can only give you one: Tweed B-Man Brt 4x10 Tweed B-Man 67 Condenser And only two blocks. noise gate and classic distortion

arislaf
Guys, matter of fact that I experience: my patches also change sound. BUT ... I update without keeping the patches, and put my bundle after again.... Sound did change... WTF.... And here is what the but comes for.... I put the patches one by one, and the old good sound come back, as they were. So give it a try, and let me know... I think that during transfer is when the sound changes..
pianoguyy
That may have worked for you, but it isn't the case for me. I update without keeping my patches. My patches are all saved individually, and I move them in and out all of the time. I am not in "one band", so keeping the same set in there all the time is not an option. So, one day I am installing rock patches, the next day I blank everything out and install country patches -- and so on. I do, however, have a couple setlists saved. For when I am home and just want to play anything that comes up instead of rehearsing for a specific cause. I have a my favorites and my generics loaded and ready to go, without needing install them individually.

I didn't keep my patches either - I backed them up and let the install overwrite everything with the factory presets and then I loaded in my saved set list with my patches - I didn't load them one by one. However, I didn't save all my patches individually - I saved them as a set list - so I guess I can't reload the individuals one by one now. So it's worth remembering to keep individual copies of each patch too.

Welcome edstar. regarding patches you can do it, just from the setlist drag them while offline into a new folder, one by one. but try out first one that you know is different, and if it sounds like before (warm and not fizzy) continue the process.

pianoguyy
Not that it is a big deal, but... You can drag them OUT of the software in bulk. You can only bring them back in one at a time.
