duncann
So far, I've used the 5150 and the bass amps. Not to just try out and see, but to get tones I will use in a song. Those two amps alone, along with the 410 Rhino cab that accompanies the bass amps, made the purchase worth it for me. Line 6 has stepped up the modeling from what you get when you buy one of these devices.
arislaf
I would go with Nico on this one. Bought full bundle, metal pack is the worst value for money, but Peavey is really good amp... Most unfortunate is that metal pack give no cabs at all...
maxnew40
I bought them all and I have liked the few I tried, but I am thinking of rolling back the firmware because of issues with the new firmware and I will lose the new models when I do that. -Max
Palico
Got the full pack just becuase I occasionally need the bass amps for recording some bass lines. I have not tired the bass amps yet. The 5150 is a staple on my Dream rig now. It's a bit of grindy type of gain tone but the note defition is outstanding. The BlackPanel Pete (which is older throw in not HD) is favorite of mine now as well. The AC Fawn and Orange I haven't used much yet but the bit I've played around with them I really like them. Can you tell us what is happening?

Is your dreamrig with a DT amp? If so, how do you use the BlackPanel Pete with your dream rig since you must use the full amp? Are there any settings that you have found useful for a DT amp setup? Thanks.

Are there any settings that you have found useful for a DT amp setup? Thanks. Yea, JTV89 -> HD500(x)->DT25 combo. Honestly on the BlackPanelPetem, I just adjust the EQ on the amp itself a bit. Most of the time on the HD ones I use the "Pre" version. But you can use the full version without too much trouble they just tend to be a bit dark to my ears. IMO, the BlackPanelPete sounds more like what I expect a good Black Panel to sound like than the HD one. I know his was heavly modified, so likely just my expectation but this model makes me happy. My patch this one Soul Food overdrive(actual pedal POD effects loop), just spin the knobs and turn on when I want a some dirt. BlackPanel Amp block Opti tremolo, turned off mostly just for one song I need it on. Analog Delay, set with low mix kind of a slap back delay but not much of it. Room 'verb, just a touch so it's not sooo dry sounding.
maxnew40
I don't remember reading anyone having troubles with the FW and having to roll back. Can you tell us what is happening? The issue that some of us are having with this new firmware is that the HD500 buttons do nothing if the HD500 is powered up with a JTV connected via the VDI connection. In some cases it takes some time before it fails, for me it takes using the PODs tuner before it fails. If you then disconnect the JTV and power up the HD500 it will work correctly. I also have the L6 Link connected so I may need to do a test to see if this connection is also required to duplicate this error. I find this interesting as I believe that 2.6.2 contains a fix related to the tuner that was an issue for the 2.6 firmware. Here is one of the threads about the issue: http://line6.com/support/topic/13653-hd500-with-jtv69-problem-after-update/ -Max
DarrellM5
I'm enjoying all of the new model packs but haven't played with them much yet. I kind of got sidetracked exploring the incredible new Variax setlist that came with the new FW.
leandrocarvalho
I liked the JCM800 remastered very much. I recorded with the camera of my Samsung Galaxy S5. It's only a test
