rudomat
can you set the unit, so it reads the actual state while recalling....? if not - how do you store the recall Levels, while you have an Expression pedal working as a volume pedal...? thanks
glideman
There's another thread about volume levels where one of the Line 6 guys said the next firmware will give the ability to set a global setting that will match the expression pedal position when changing presets, I believe. silverhead
... meantime, the stored level of the pedal will be whatever state/position it is in at the moment that you Save the preset.
TNJ1956
I want to set up my Helix with exp 1 as a wah pedal, and exp 2 as a volume pedal. Toggle from 1 to 2, wah to volume, and vice versa. How does one accomplish that, specifically (could I get an algorithmic answer)? S. j

Any preset that has a volume and a wah block will set up automatically this way.

S. j no problem...no idea, weather it´s algorythmic or not... the only thing you got to realize is, when you switch to wah, you´re automatically on max gain...i´ve installed a minus boost of 6 dB or so on one switch for the case i want wah on rhythm volume level... TNJ1956
What I did was leave the expression pedal in exp1. Then I saved the Wah (Fessler) to a footswitch. I hate having to stomp so hard on the pedal, and now I just step on the f/s and start up the effect. S. j
