80sMetalDude
Is there a way to get that hard note sound (piano) effect on the open E string at the beginning of Sanitarium by Metallica with the HD500x?
AlexKenivel
Nothing I've seen suggests you can make an electric guitar through a Pod sound like an acoustic grand piano. Might want to try a keyboard. I'm sure you can sound both instruments at the same time. Or you could use the looper and time things right.. 80sMetalDude
Nope nothing on the manual. Was hoping someone may have a convoluted way to make it happen between use of delays/chorus etc... Noob here so just wondering.
silverhead
Suggestion: connect an iPhone or something like it to the HD500X cd/MP3 input. On the iPhone run a soft-synth piano app. I expect you could do it with the basic/free version of GarageBand.

80sMetalDude
I guess the reason I thought it may be possible is there are some crazy synth patches included.... figured "why not ask."
pianoguyy
There are some f'd up synth-like sounds available. But none of them are "clean" sounds.
