willsmythe37
Hello all, Just a query. Is it me or are there a number of limitations regarding naming scribble strips? I'd like to be able to rename snapshots, as well as some effects. Also I would like to have 5 snapshots in the bottom row and 5 stomps on the top? Is that even possible right now? (Remove the up/down bank/preset buttons) Having lots of fun with the unit.
Digital_Igloo
I'd like to be able to rename snapshots, as well as some effects. Snapshots can be renamed. Press the PRESET knob and then Knob 6 (Rename Snapshot). Individual models cannot be named. Also I would like to have 5 snapshots in the bottom row and 5 stomps on the top? Is that even possible right now? (Remove the up/down bank/preset buttons) Snapshots are part of the preset/setlist architecture and are limited to groups of four.
HonestOpinion
You can also rename snapshots from the Editor by clicking on the camera icon in the upper left hand corner. You will see 'Rename' in the pulldown menu.
willsmythe37
Thanks guys, it appears I had simply missed it out.I guess that's the one thing that's missing there then; being able to do away with the bank/preset switches if you wish to work within STOMPS/SNAPSHOTS... or the other settings. As I will generally be working within one preset live, those switches are redundant (for me) so an option to turn them off and assign other bits to them would be great. Thanks again for your continuing work L6
jbuhajla
You can set the stompbox mode to 10 switches, which makes the bank switches go away. You can also go into pure snapshot mode and have 8 snapshots with the bank switches. There are other combinations as well.

Thanks again for your continuing work L6 Try using global settings to 8 stomps for the main footswitches, and set the Up/Down switches to Snapshots. You will be able to control 8 stomps at a time and move between snapshots with one (or more) taps on the up/down switches. You might find it useful, although multiple taps to get to different snapshots could be troublesome, as well as the fact that I don't think you can see the Snapshot names as you navigate among them. Might have to be flying blind.
zooey
Short version is that there is no 10 snapshots mode for footswitches, because each preset only has 8. As others have said, there's a global setting that lets you select what appears in each row of switches. I think all combinations are available if I remember right. phil_m
What I do is set Preset Mode to "8 Snapshots" and then use the Mode switch to switch between Preset and Stomp mode. That way, it's pretty fast to get into a preset to turn individual effects on and off if I want to, but most of the time I am changing between snapshot. If you want to have Stomp mode set to 10 footswitches, you still can. To change presets, you just have to be in Preset Mode and hit one of the bank switches.
