rofskyj1
I'm new to the Firehawk FX. I mostly love the operation and definitely the sonic freedom. FWIW, if Line6 is "listening," I think the effect activation buttons should be placed in front of the bank/preset (A, B, C, D) buttons. When playing a song live, it's more important to be able to quickly activate an effect without having to navigate a large shoe over a row of other buttons (for fear of hitting one during the song). The other "bug" is that if you want to play a wah during a song, you have to activate it with a separate button, then move your foot onto the wah pedal.....very awkward. Perhaps a future optical activated wah (the optical trigger can be bypassed when the volume pedal is chosen). Thanks for listening.
SharkGuitar7
I agree.Very good suggestions.I use a Morely Steve Vai Wah in the front end.Love the idea of reversing the effects buttons.
mcbeddall
The wah can be switched on and off by pressing the toe down by the way

JamieCrain
It would be good to be able to swap the switch rows but as you can't here's what I've done. I set the normal tone on switch A, I then copy the tone but with the desired extra effect(s) to switch B. So all I have to do is move between A and B (or C and D) to toggle effects on/off. mcbeddall
I do something similar, I tend to use a bank for each song we play , sometimes patch A is almost identical to patch B except for a parameter change or two, some banks are used for more than one song. There's always those button covers you can get that make switching the effects on and off much easier, there's a thread on them here somewhere

SteveFrance
I've got one since one month. This is really an extraordinary multi-effects. I have to go on playing with it to use all the capabilities ! :D One thing i really regret, in front of my last machine, is that the looper is too much short ! I know that Line6 had allready improved it and you can stream music but i had one longer in a cheaper product...
mcbeddall
I came across something recently , we switched rehearsal places and the sound in the new room was really lively, no wall coverings etc so a lot of my patches had too much reverb and I remembered the pod xt had a global reverb knob that I used way back to control the reverb for different venues, it was a cracking idea
