tjbassoon
Just wondering if this is a setting that occurs at the end or front of the signal chain. Not that it matters in many situations, but for instance my instrument in a flat state has a significant low end that will affect things like envelope filters in a significant way. I usually throw a low end roll off at a pre-amp level to balance the sound out, but then need to adjust the gain stage of pedals to compensate for the lower total signal. If the global EQ is before any effects it's good to know this.
phil_m
It's the last thing in the signal chain before the XLR and 1/4" outputs (depending on whether you have it set to apply to either the 1/4" outs, XLR outs, or both). It doesn't affect any of the digital outputs. It also doesn't affect the sends, if you happen to have an output block set to one of those. MGblade
it's after the whole chain, I use it to fine tune if needed during a gig. as far I know it only effects the xlr and 1/4" outs.
MusicLaw
I'd be interested to know how you've got your instrument (I'm presuming a Bassoon) configured with a pickup/mic/transducer, and how you're feeding that to the Helix (Guitar In, Aux In, Mic In, FX Return)? This: https://tjbassoon.com/little-jake/ I designed the pickup to work with regular guitar stuff well, so I just go to the guitar in. I've seen no need to use the Aux in so far.
