the29band
Downloaded and installed the HX Edit. Now everytime I try to Create Backup, it goes through fine with Global Settings and IRs but at 35% on Presets, it always gives me the same error "Errors occured during backup (code -0806)". I have tried several times, tried re-starting Helix and the software but same issues at the same exact point. Anyone experienced any such issues? the29band
Did you uninstalll the old version? No, I did not. I don't see that as a step as part of this: http://line6.com/support/topic/18284-latest-helix-firmware-230%E2%80%94nov-21-2017/ Also, I tried both windows and mac and same result
j_hotch
Which version of the firmware did you start with? If its older than Version 2.12.2 there are different steps to follow.
talwilkins
I hade the same issue. I discovered there was a corrupt patch. Found it by exporting patches (the errror happens then also) First export setlists to find the setlist containing the corrupt patch. Then export patches (20 or so at a time to zoom in) Keep zooming in until you have the culprit. Overwrite the patch with an empty patch. Voila!
bpartin
Same problem here... My problem is that it is an empty patch (or patches) that's getting the error. When I try to overwrite it with another empty patch I get the same error. Anyone?

When seeking assistance it’s a big help to let others know what your computer and OS are, plus which Helix unit you’re using. Simply saying “Same problem here...” doesn’t give us much to go on. Firstly, check that your version of HX Edit is version is 3.10 and your HX Firmware is v.3.11.0 - if not update them now. Hope this helps/makes sense.
