They don't answer in what way? On the forums? These are user forums, not really support forums. If you have a specific issue you need help with your best bet is to open a support ticket here or call them at 818-575-3600 (option 2), 8am – 12pm & 1pm – 4pm Mon-Fri Pacific Time.

First off, have you worked your way through the audio troubleshooting guide? It usually fixes any faults;

If you have checked monkey and it says it's all Ok, update the drivers manually, that has worked for me in the past.

Do you have trouble using as a plug in or stand alone? Or both?

I had a similar problem with latest sierra, and support provided me with the following, which worked (they guided me to the below links, bypassing Monkey):

The driver installation has changed on High Sierra:

Please check out the Security & Privacy seetings on your iMac and try to reinstall the latest Mac driver v7.6.7 (without using Monkey). It can be downloaded here:

However, I'm now getting the static as well, and while it went away when I swapped out a USB cable, it's back again regardless of cable. If you get a solution, please share.

Best,

Phil

So as an update - after a lot of frustration, I contacted Line6 Support. They suggested that I reinstall the latest driver (V7.6.7). I did so, again not using Monkey, and yesterday was able to finally do some recording once again without any static! So give that a shot - if the static reappears, I'll just keep doing that step.

Best,

Phil
