silverhead
I assume your post means you are having an issue. Please describe it.
klarkkentster
When I first upgraded from 1.5 I received the error attached. I now can only see 1.6 as a AU and not a VST. I'm using Ableton 9 on an apple
silverhead
I'm not familiar with Macs but in the PC world errors like this can sometimes be resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling Helix Native. Perhaps others can be more helpful here.
Triryche
Just to eliminate something simple possibly overlooked, you selected VST3 during the install?
soundog
AU installation working OK here...
klarkkentster
I didn't see where it gave me the option to install VST3? Is that for Mac?
silverhead
When I install Helix Native on PC I am presented with installation options. There are check boxes you use to indicate which one(s) of 3 options: VST2, VST3, or AAX that you want to install. Don't know how the Mac works. soundog
Works the same on a Mac. Some Mac DAWs can use VSTs, but Logic uses only AU. Select the preferred format for your DAW and version. Floss.
klarkkentster
On my Mac I do not get the option to select. If I enable the customer folder in Ableton's presence and I can see Line 6 Native in the VST3 folder... But it still isn't visible when I look in Ableton
soundog
On Mac...after you get through the initial Helix Native license agreement screens, you'll get to the main Install screen. Select the Customize option on the bottom left, then check the plugin versions you want to install.

Thank you. Now back to seeing if I can map a volume pedal to the HN. :)
