slapcatt
Has anyone found an answer to why the 1/4 inch cable will not supply audio or power to my Variax 600?
soundog
Yes. It was never designed to. [update: through a regular guitar cable. See @psarkassian comment below.]
cbrillow
Is this a followup to a question you asked before? If not, you haven't given enough information about what you're trying to accomplish and what you have tried that doesn't work.
psarkissian
Use a battery and a TRS 1/4" cable and not a TS 1/4" cable. Should be something in the manual about that,... page 10-11 in the owner's manual. https://line6.com/legacy/variax600
codamedia
If you have the XPS A/B power supply, you need to connect the Variax to that using a TRS cable... not a standard guitar cable. If you do not have that power supply or cable, you need to use batteries in the back of the guitar.... when using batteries you can use a standard guitar cable.
