ScottMcClain
I started the update over an hour and a half ago. The progress bar is showing at right around 50% and hasn't moved. This seems a bit long? Do I have a problem?
cruisinon2
I'd say something's wrong... I won't pretend that I know what to do about it, but mine took about 15 minutes, give or take.

Also, try the simple solution first, if your Updater dialog box is displaying an "OK" box just click it.

ScottMcClain
Happy to know that it was not just me. But I did the same thing as manix1979 and it completed in about 10 minutes after doing the same procedure. But I must admit that since this was a firmware update I was afraid that stopping the process would completely disable the Helix. Thank God it worked! jpdennis
Had to click the OK button twice during the 10 minutes it took to update my Helix from 2.71 to 2.8 so I feel it went very well.

Tarekith
Mine took about 3-4 minutes from start to finish to complete.
s1dney
I have the floor unit and I just followed the advice from Manix1979 - worked beautifully. Thanks Manix1979
