Helix LT expression pedal adjustment

Hi,

does anybody know how to adjust the amount of volume given?

I don't know how to explain my problem but it's like the volume knob of a fender amp. When you turn to 1 or 2 you almost have full volume.

It feels like the first half inch of movement the expression pedal gives 70% volume right away. It doesn't feel natural and is hard to control with the foot.

I couldn't find nothing about this on the manual, and I don't even know if it is possible to adjust that.

Thanks in advance

In the Volume pedal block the "curve" setting can be set to Linear (default) or Logarithmic. Change that to Logarithmic and it will behave more like a real volume pedal does... providing a more gradual volume throw.

(NOTE: This is in the VOLUME PEDAL block you add to a preset, not the EXP adjustments in global settings)

I have a related question... I have the Helix LT and the expression pedal is kind of 'sticky' (this is a physical issue, not a software issue).  I use it the pedal for overall volume control at the end of my signal chain.  If I push the toe down just a little bit for very low volume, the pedal doesn't stay in place - it comes back to the full upright position.  I have to toe the pedal down at least 1/3 or 1/2 way down for the adjustment to take hold.

Is there a particular lubricant or other mechanical remedy / adjustment that will fix this?

Thanks!

I've used graphite spray on it, and it has been very solid and non-sticky for 3 years now.  Do it at your own risk though.  I didn't disassemble it, just sprayed at all the points where there was friction.
