mwschwartz
The power cord for the Pod Go is not really road worthy - as well, I like to have both a back up cord: a cord I leave at my studio at home as well as one in my Gig back. Besides being back ordered, they are also very expensive. Does any have suggestions on options other then buying a direct replacement (which can't be done right now)? Also, the DC-3h unit is 9V 3A - is it ok to use one with higher amps (ie: 9V 4A)? How about one with fewer amps - 9V 2A? Is there a range that will work 3A +/- 14% or some other Percentage? Right now playing with just one cord and that is risky............. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
olerabbit
The PodGo requires 9V 2,5 A MIN. If I take 2,5 A serious I know 2 power supplies with this feature: Thomann Power Supply Uni 5-15V DC 3A 19,90 € Thomann Power Supply 5-15V DC 3A Uni 29 € MyVolts offered a suitable power supply before but actually I cannot find it again. Thomann also offers some 2 A power cords but they would not be my first choice. This would depend on an attempt.
mwschwartz
Thank you very much. I will check this out. I am in the US, and while I can get an adaptor, would be better to have a US plug. Have any insight in that? Appreciate your help.
olerabbit
You can contact Thomann's customer support via Email: kundenservice@thomann.de. They answer in English and might be able to help you solve your problem. Good luck!

mwschwartz
Took a look at your link - did not see anything for the pod go listed - i did message them to see if I missed it or they have something. Thanks for the link.
daveaphotopod
I know this isn't a direct solution and includes an added expense, but I use a 1spot CS6 power supply, which comes with parts so that you can power a POD GO (there are some videos about it on YouTube) I agree, the included power supply that comes with the POD GO is awful. mwschwartz
Thanks for the reference. The CS line looks good, definitely should work. Pretty expensive. Boy, you would not think a power chord to a simple device would be so expensive or so hard to find at a reasonable price!!!!
mwschwartz
I saw this - multiple comments in the review says it works for Pod Go (although one says is does not). Does anyone have any experience with this unit? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0154WFJDG?ref=em_1p_1_ti&ref_=pe_4759900_700686040
jadesoft
All the replacements i have tried do not shield for noise as well as the original. Does anyone have advice for how to make one of these compliant replacements less noisy? Adding an iron ferrite cylinder or the like to an existing cord?
