boynigel
i have a song that uses a wah for the solo on snapshot #4. The solo ends w/the wah in the toe-down position, then I go straight to snapshot #1. the problem with this is that when i go to snapshot #1, the wah is still on (because i have the wah set up to turn on/off a hair past full heel-down via the expression pedal). how can i set it up so that when i go to the new snapshot, the wah is OFF, regardless of where my foot physically left the expression pedal on the previous snapshot? This is easy enough with other effects blocks by simply saving the snapshot w/a given effect in whatever state, active or bypassed, but it appears the expression pedal assignment on the wah block is overriding the ability to do so. What's the fix i'm overlooking?
rd2rk
Use the Toe Switch vs pedal position for ON/OFF?

I HATE the the toe switch on these things. I need to practically put my foot through the unit to engage/disengage it. On my previous LT i removed the rubber feet under the exp pedal, cut their thickness down, and then put them back on, but i don't feel like dealing with that again because each rubber foot needs to be the same thickness...which can be tricky cutting rubber w/a razor blade. a bit of a PITA. If i have to, i have to, but if i can avoid it...
silverhead
Try removing the Wah block bypass assignment from the pedal position. Then the snapshot bypass should work normally. You can reassign the Wah bypass to a footswitch if you want.

If so, that sounds like it could be the fix. i'll try it out when i get home, thanks.
silverhead
Yes for your purposes. You could have it on in multiple snapshots if you wish. But you’ve got the idea.
silverhead
As mentioned you can also assign the Wah bypass to a footswitch and turn it on/off manually in Stomp mode independently from snapshots. If you do this you will probably also want to set the Snapshot Edits parameter to Discard.
theElevators
Assign the mix parameter to snapshots. Want the wah to be off? Set the mix at 0%.

You have to assign the parameter to Snapshots, then save it where you want it in each. 1
